she replied, glancing at Theo with concern. Before they could react, a figure leaped out from the shadows. It was a vampire. He lunged at Theo, knocking him down and sinking his teeth into his leg. Theo cried out in pain, trying to fight off the attacker. Sarah acted swiftly, leaping at them and trying to slash at the vampire whose reflexes were faster than she could keep up with.

“I probably would have been slaving away in one of the households, too, if not for you.” I furrowed my brows, “So this slave thing is only just a human thing?” “Yes, my lady. If humans don’t serve as meals for the vampires, we end up becoming pets and sex slaves. Now, pets might almost sound fair. But from what I hear, those pets would have preferred to be tagged as enslaved people. Aside from making them crawl on their limbs like an actual animal, they are used for dangerous games that could end human life in a snap. It is not a memory to reminisce on my lady.” I could see the strain in her eyes.

Maximus demanded "Two years ago I turned a girl. Not intentionally but that's another story. When she rose as a vampire her eyes were not black, nor red, but blue. Shortly after we discovered she is also kinetic-" .

My spine tingled the way it always did around unfamiliar vampires, and the scent of vampire invaded my nose, but this time ... there was something strange about it. Mixed with the sharp, pungent vampire scent was something unmistakably pleasant, almost resembling honey as well as spicy perfume. Slowly, I turned toward the lockers, totally unprepared for what stood in front me- or should I say who stood in front of me. The strangely pleasant-smelling vampire seemed to be observing me carefully as he peeked through his long, dark lashes and leaned against one of the lockers. He had a perfectly placed smu

She told him without hesitation. He looked at her, surprised. “Why vampires? They feed on human blood and are cold-blooded murderers.” He told her. “Not all vamps are murderers. Some feed on animal blood and some feed on human blood that was donated.” She told him with an offended pout. “But would you date one?” he asked her. “Absolutely, that is, if he loves me.” She told him with an excited grin, “Vampire are very affectionate and loyal to their partners and who wouldn’t want a guy who loves you unconditionally.” She told him.

Vic answered the system. "Sure! Vic!!" "Okay. I'm Sternly Vic." "Just who am I and who the hell are you!"

The Vampire wished to see me? I quickly skipped to her side, "Um, excuse me," I began in a soft voice, "The vampire? What is he like?" Devin sighed and gave me a pity look. “He’ll come around.” He assured me. “In the meantime, it’s a beautiful day and the sun is up. You wanna go for a walk?” he asked and shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal, only if he knew what he just did. He just invited a vampire for a walk, in the sun. Good thing I’m a day lighter. “Sure.” I said and stood up from the chair I was seated. “So, what do you wanna talk about?” He asked swinging his arms beside him while staring at my face making me a little more uncomfortable than I already am.

Kyle was silent as Eva's words ran through his mind again and Luca continued "You haven't experienced love before and this is all new to you. So I think you should give Eva space and also do what you think is right" Kyle had no expression as he listened to Luca. He decided to focus on other things and will handle Eva after this issue had been solved"Have you found out who sent those vampires?" He asked and Luca said "Yes, but I'm not so sure.
