Vampires Blood Scent Novels & Stories

When I bend down to examine it, I’m thankful it’s not bleeding. That’s another worry. Vampires have an excellent sense of smell, much like wolf shifters, but they can smell blood better than anything else, especially the fresh kind, so a thorn scratch or other break in the skin could be extremely problematic for us. Once again, it seems better to go slowly and be more cautious than it does to take off like a bat out of hell.

As she nearly reaches the boy's neck, she smells a stench. Although a vampire's experience of odour isn't always as proper as a canine's, it's miles notably sharper than humans' and is in a position to differentiate the supply of the odour. It is a forbidden odour to vampires. “You, did you?” Taking gain of Isabella's shock, Raven covers her face with the towel in his left hand. The exceptional king of the nighttime right away collapses and faints on the floor. Raven stares at her with informative eyes and holds out a plastic jar in his left hand.

“You smell like dark chocolate.” “Oh?” I frowned and looked up at his face. “You didn’t know?” “Vampires can’t distinguish other’s scents. To us, we pretty much smell the same.” He tucked a few stray strands of hair behind my ear. “But we’re also the most dangerous of predators in this world. Our scents are adapted to lure in our prey.” “And by prey, you mean innocent little girls with big blue eyes and short dresses?” I smirked. He kissed me instead, drowning me in a pool of sensation that made heat travel to my core, and parted only when I was limp and breathless. Then he whispered into my ear, “I think it’s time you find out exactly how I devour my prey.”

Extending my senses to my ears, I strained to decipher their raspy voices, but heard nothing noteworthy. I stilled. A different scent wafted into my nostrils – a delicious, mouth-watering, gut-wrenching scent. Human blood. And not just ordinary, standard human blood. It was the most delicious thing I had ever smelt and my teeth started hurting so much, my body shook from the pain. It was them. These vile monsters. Mixed with their own horrid scent, they smelt like her blood. And I realised something horrifying – her blood was flowing inside their veins. They had her. And they had drunk her blood.

“Then again, nothing has made sense to me long before you turned into a dog right in front of me.” “Wolf.” I correct her automatically. “Oh, I wasn't referring to your shift.” She teases and I laugh, knowing she means my behavior. “Touche, babe.” I mockingly dip my head. “That's how you knew the guy at my window was a werewolf? He smelled like one?” I nod. “Lycanthropes have an earthy smell to them that gives them away. Older vampires have a musty smell that gives them away, while newer ones have a strong metallic smell that faintly resembles blood.”

"Vampires have a sense of smell, hearing, touch, .. everything is sharp. You can hear the sound of water falling, feel the smell of roses from tens of meters away. You just need to stand in one place, everyone something will come out and make you see it all." Sharmaine nodded, and she slowly closed her eyes. A world appeared in Sharmaine's imagination. She heard the flapping of a bird's wings a kilometre away, and she heard the sound of water running under her feet. She took a breath. The scent of wild orchids was passionate and fragrant. Everything seemed to be appearing in front of Sharmaine. She felt amazement and fear, the power of a vampire, this terrible power that could make the world

Should I let my pack go through that? I have to. It's the only way to live. Vampires smelled like predators. They were somehow around the same place on the flood chain but their scent made us terrified. Because they were both undead and living. Everything about their scent told us they were stronger and better skilled. Fast. They were monsters to us. Something we cannot understand because they do not belong in the forest. Vampire blood was a whole different story from the vampire's scent alone. Because it held the secrets to their being. It was their storage supply. The only thing keeping them running. It was a fountain of youth. It was crave- worthy. Because the taste- is divine. Just the s

Something was wrong! Her vampiric senses suddenly got heightened. That scent, that sweet scent, was attracting her towards the source. She inhaled that sweet human scent deep within her. She felt like it circulated in her blood, and she found herself getting addicted to it. Who's scent was that? Vampires are best at controlling themselves and their thirst for blood, but now, at that moment, Agnes wanted that person all to herself. She was craving for their blood. She never wanted a human, never ever. But now that scent was overcoming her senses, and all she wanted was that person.

His hand lands on the drawer I just closed. He pauses. Opens it. Looks directly at the spot where Brennan's file should be. The file currently in my jacket. "Odd," he murmurs. His head turns. Scanning the room. Nostrils flaring. Dhampir blood smells different from human. Not appetizing to vampires but distinctive. If he catches my scent, I'm dead. I don't breathe. Don't move. Don't exist. He stands there for an eternity measured in heartbeats.

It was nothing like the rosy smell she had when they first met. "Hey," he said, still typing away He took a deep breath, but the nasty scent was still stuck to her. Gore tried to place where he knew the scent from, but came up short. Even though he knew he came across it before, it was as if his memory box was telling him otherwise. "What are you doing?" Selina walked closer to him. The scent that was attached to her grew stronger. Then Gore froze. It was the scent of a vampire, and not of the good ones who claim they are righteous because they only drink the blood of criminally incarcerated humans.
