The smell of vampire blood is sharp and metallic in the air as he snarls, his eyes glowing red, and his fangs snapping into place. Up close he looks like all of them do when the mask drops, pale, cold and wrong. I lift him by the neck, shifting a little more, letting Ghost’s eyes bleed through mine, and for the first time I see real fear take root in his face. Adrian should have known better than sending not even original vampires that ain’t a match for me to do his dirty work. I don’t even need the moonlight ring. The vampires he sent are so far down the food chain, they don’t even have the calming aura the original vampires have. Theirs are weaker so it’s a piece of cake blocking it.

She swallowed hard and I could see the fear in her eyes. “You…” she breathed, staring at me like she had seen a ghost. She rose her trembling hand and pointed directly at me. “You’re … you’re a vam…vamp…vampire!!”

He said while moving towards me , i started moving backwards because i didn't want him to get too close to me. "What do you want from me ?" I asked. "Wow nice question, i just want to replace you" he said and then he disappeared, i looked around but i didn't see him, i remembered that Mr Franklin said he was a ghost. "But why me?" I asked, although he was not visible but i knew he was around. "Because i am you" he said and appeared in my back. "I swear to God i will shut you off" i said in anger. "Are you crazy , you can't kill a ghost boy!" He yelled and laughed.

"But seriously, answer me." "No, I don't sleep. I don't have the privilege to do so," she finally replied. "Why not? Don't go with a lie now." "I won't lie to you." "Yes, and I'm stupid." His sarcastic tone could be worse than anything else. She ignored it and responded, "Vampires don't sleep." The laughter from his forum echoed in his conscience. Hell, what a big lie. Didn't it occur to you to tell him that it's because you like the darkness too? You're so... bad at this, seriously."

I asked because from what I know, they're always thirsty for blood and he hasn't shown any sign of that. "Normal vampires yes but not me." I frowned. "Why not you?" He sighed. "I know you may have a lot of questions at the moment but it's best for you to go back to sleep. It's one in the morning." "You drag me all the way out here and show me that supernaturals exist just to tell me to go back to bed?" "I dragged you here to finally make you believe me. The sooner you start your duties as a chosen one the better. You've already been attacked once by a shapeshifter. We are running out of time." Attacked? Shapeshifter? What is he talking about?

24 Noah. I hadn’t slept since I left her. Vampires didn’t sleep the way humans did, but we drift. We fade in and out, disappear into memory, into feeling, sometimes into nothing at all. Most Vampires don't understand the mentality of humans. They don't allow their pets to show emotions and then get bored of their pets because they act like emotionless zombies. They don't understand that forcing a human to suppress how their feeling is just setting them up for failure.

I looked around, trying to spot any signs of movement in the darkness but the vampires seemed like ghosts, attacking quickly and then vanishing back into the night. Amidst the chaos, I had a feeling of impending danger. I sensed someone behind me, and a chilling breath touched my neck. I turned quickly, holding my dagger up, only to face the cold stare of a vampire. The vampire lunged at me with a fierce hunger, showing its teeth in a menacing snarl. I fought bravely, swinging my sword at the vampire's sharp claws. We fought fiercely, trying to stay alive but the vampire was too strong, and I couldn't defend myself well.

Vampires are lower-caste demons, who live in other dimensions and can be summoned to perform various tasks.” “But can they stay in our world?" “They can, if the summoner isn’t careful enough.
