Dark Descendant

Dark Descendant

The girl then brought her face closer, try reading the page of the book. Venus did not really understand, but the scene that was plastered was explaining the situation where Amerta's time finally approached its end. Because she did not want to dirty her hands with dust, Venus used the Air again to close the book. The cover explained that it was only a fiction novel that was inspired by the real circumstances of the downfall of Amerta. The downfall of Amerta. How exaggerated, Venus mind denounced. The girl took turns blowing dust on the two books that had been originally covered with Air Talent. One is titled ENCHANTED and the other is titled WOLVIRE, both appear to be writings from someone n

shattered vows

But his pride wouldn't let him admit it. One evening, Adyant entered their bedroom, hoping to find Veda waiting for him. Instead, he found her reading a hindi novel, her expression serene. He froze as his eyes roved over her. He marveled at the serenity in her face. “Ethereal.” He unknowingly whispered to his own self as the words came out of his throat on their own. She looked like an angel, with her eyes fixed on the page and her lips curled into a smile.

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

Her Eyes of Emerald and Fire

She chuckles to herself, and he glares at her. Vali was reading another book aloud, ‘Childhood Memories’ by Ion Creangă. It wasn’t overly interesting as plots go, a memoir of sorts, but apparently it was considered a good book by a lot of people. They hadn’t gotten that far into it yet, maybe it gets more interesting later on. Seth seems annoyed at Vali being accepted company and him not. She finishes eating and lays down, closing her eyes to listen to Vali’s soothing voice. Seth storms off after a while.

Discovering the Wolf: Finding the Bond Mender

Discovering the Wolf: Finding the Bond Mender

I can’t see anything that looks like a stun roar in the table of contents. “Luna Sera, if I may make a suggestion, it may be listed under a name like paralysis or immobilise.” Leola offers, careful to aim her suggestion to GeGe and not me directly. I read through the list again and see the term immobilisation. My eyes flick up to hers to a second, she gives me a small nod, she knows what’s in the book. I wonder can she read it too. “GeGe, is it only our bloodline that can read the book?” I link carefully, flicking my eyes back to the book then direct out loud. “Page one hundred and thirty-four.”

The Vegetative Killer

The Vegetative Killer

"I must have lost my mind. How can a person in a coma kill anyone?" "I'm sorry, Miss Corleone. We just got emotional..." Miller seemed to be wavering. His tone softened as he tried to persuade me. "Victoria, if someone is threatening you, just tell us. We can protect you." Meeting their earnest gazes, I trembled. I lowered my head, hiding a pathetic flicker of discomposure. I quickly composed myself. "Leo, my little painter." "Did you really think I bought your art out of the goodness of my heart?"

Libro Vitae whispered its voice harmonious. "Libro Vitae, please show me where Alastair is hiding," I asked. The book hummed in response. Libro Vitae became warm in my hands. The cover opened, pages flipped continuously until they suddenly stopped. The words on the page jumped off the paper, floating into the air, wrapping themselves around me. In a blink of an eye, I was pulled into the book. Light flooded my vision. Every sound echoed around me. Voices raced past me, speaking in riddles. Some shouting, screaming, others a dull whisper. Libro Vitae's voice became louder as I watched the trees form around me.

Mrs Magnolia
Don’t let the price of the chapters fool you, these are the longest chapters I’ve ever seen. The price is well worth the amount you’re receiving. One of the best books yet, not only does the author do a wonderful job telling the story but also keeps you intrigued the entire time.

Love how this story is written. I have read the entire series and I can say it is a whirlwind of emotions. Alpha Erik is the first of the five book series and it stole my heart from the start. Definitely worth the read! Big chapters too!

He turned around and tilted his head. "Thank You." Her smile was small but filled with gratitude. "You're welcome and you can call me Azraiel." He watched her nod her head and left the medical wing with the brightest smile on his face. Alone in the room, Charlotte moved on the bed a little to lift the books he had left. She put them on the unoccupied space on the bed and lifted the first one to read the title. A small smile crept on her face as she read the title. "Basics of the Werewolf World" was a fifty-page introduction book for children at the Orchid Primary School at the Blue Orchid Pack. She leaned back and started reading about the new world she was going to be in for the rest of her

Anabel Knight's Redemption

Anabel Knight's Redemption

“I wanted to be human again, and that is going to happened, I wanted to live a normal life, but again that isn’t going to happen.” “When you are done feeling sorry for yourself, maybe you can figure this one out.” He said dropping the book in front of her. “This is one of Hecta’s spells, I cannot read it, or she didn’t want me to, so I want you to try and read it for me.” He said looking at her. Anabel looked down at the book she wasn’t sure what it said. “I cannot read that.” She said shaking her head, “Look again.” He said pointing to the words.” He said looking down at the book. Victor knew she would be able to read it, if Hecta allowed her to.

Between Heaven and Hell

Tomoya's voice went raspy. "The whole damn thing didn't make any sense to me. He's supposed to be the villain, but... ugh!" Tomoya raised both hands in defeat. "And this book isn't helping as much as we all need. I don't know. I was so sure I've read everything written in there, but all of the sudden... poof! I became stupid. Yeah, you were right about me after all."

Alpha's Psycho Mate (Book-1 of Fated Series)

Alpha's Psycho Mate (Book-1 of Fated Series)

Glints of curiosity could be seen in Amenia's eyes, probably interested in asking something but thankfully she didn't make any move to voice her questions and nodded curtly to my request as gesturing me to take a seat on the bench beside her. I claimed a seat to the opposite side of Anemia while Alex sat next to me. She moved that book to me which she was reading before. I look at her before focusing on the page opened in the book. It showed a picture of a human and some other creatures with wings attached to their backs like what I had seen in my dream. And a title printed on its top says 'The Guardians of Light and Dark'. I didn't get what her point was by showing this picture to me, so I
