Yovan senang aku menjadi begitu pengertian. Tapi dia tidak tahu bahwa sebenarnya aku sudah memutuskan semua hubungan dengan Keluarga Murdaya. Dan, bahwa dia sudah menandatangani surat perjanjian cerai kami. Akhirnya, aku bebas.

Aku meninggal di hari aku memenangkan Penghargaan Doktor Medis Global. Tiga jam setelah kematianku, orang tua, kakak laki-laki, dan tunanganku baru saja pulang dari pesta ulang tahun ke-16 adik perempuanku. Jantungku berhenti berdetak karena nada sibuk telepon. Ini adalah ke-100 kalinya mereka memilih adikku, ke-100 kalinya mereka mengabaikanku, mengecewakanku, dan ini juga yang terakhir. Aku terbaring di dalam genangan darahku sendiri, merasakan napasku perlahan berhenti. Mereka mengira aku kabur dari rumah lagi sebagai alasan untuk melampiaskan ketidakpuasanku. Mereka pikir bahwa selama mereka memberiku pelajaran, aku akan kembali dengan patuh seperti 99 kali sebelumnya. Sayangnya, itu tidak akan terjadi kali ini. Most interesting thing was there was no mark of blood after getting a thousand holes in the body. Back in the case of Dr. Nicole's murder, investigation officer get to know in postmortem report that there was no blood in the body of victim. It was strange but it wasn't the end, in just ten days there were thousand cases in which the victims were killed in different ways and every case seemed like suicide but it wasn't.

But irrespective of my fear-stricken face, he leaned dangerously closer to my face and flashed me a diabolical smirk that dripped with menace. “I think I made it clear to you last night Ms. Evans. I had never asked for your consent in the first place so you… don't really have a choice. ‘Cause once you enter Xavier’s maze, there is no going back, Grace.”
