Endorsements were canceled, his company blacklisted him, and everyone within his circle of friends ghosted him. Willa had not investigated further to know what became of his fate, but now the man before her suddenly looked too familiar. And the scene happening before her wasn’t just any scene; it was the same scene from the video that had gone viral: a top gamer thrusting into a doll with reckless abandon, oblivious to the world around him. “Yes... Come on,” Player Nine groaned desperately. Willa covered her eyes; it was too disgusting to watch, but her body was reacting in ways she didn’t like.

“Yeah, because you are a dick. Listen, I have tried but he is not budging. You need to do something, I don't know what the fuck you have to do, neither do I care. Get Koby back.” Yao stood in the room. “I am certain you're elated by all of this,” I told her. Soon, I fell asleep troubled. I could barely rest and when I woke up, I felt worse than usual. I set up my video console and went online. “Yo, this is the big D,” I said into my headset, “is anyone interested in playing against a professional? Hit me up.” Soon enough, my feed was flooded with a lot of requests. “So we're going to live stream this, check that. I am going to teach you guys how to play the game.”

She couldn't understand sign language at all. I lowered my hands, pulled out my phone, and quickly typed a sentence. [I'm LeoWinter. The one whose ID has been linked with yours in the game.] My heartbeat quickened uncontrollably. Gaming was the one place where I could truly relax. And meeting AutumnWind had been the biggest reason I'd kept playing all these years. Would she be as excited as I was? Unable to stop myself, I looked toward Madison expectantly. But there was no excitement. No joy.

Lucia telling me not to freak out, indicates I should actually do that, but what exactly does she want to tell me? "Fine! I won't". I pinky swore to my best friend not to freak out even though that was what I planned on doing. Lucia brought out her phone. She goes to the internet and uploaded a disturbing video of my husband turomatizing a man and his family, which made me to recall the first time we met.. Corey did the exact same thing to my family, however I might as well see reasons as why he did but he was never going to hurt us..

Then stopped as if remembering something. " But if he's called off the bet, how the hell are we going to know if he really has feelings for you?" She asked. I pondered on it for a while and thats when I smirked. " Just because a player quits doesn't mean the game's over." I said and stared ahead. Ariana watched me keenly. " And what do you have in mind?" She asked menacingly. I chuckled. " Its a game right?" " Right." " Then we keep on playing...." I said and glanced at her. She grinned wildly and hugged me tightly.

When I entered the game after the download was completed, the raunchy start-up screen made me blush. I flung my phone face down, leaving it there for a long while as I calmed down. Then, I picked it up again and followed the instructions, quickly customizing my avatar's appearance. After that, I hesitated before selecting the world I wanted to play in. Ultimately, I chose a traditional setting. The screen went black for a long time before the words "Match Found" appeared on it. A scene formed on the screen—it made me feel hot all over. I saw the female character I'd chosen lying on a bed, her gaze alluring and her clothes lying loose.

A game? A notification popped up on my screen. I hurried to check it, hoping that it was Ryan, that he was apologizing, telling me the bet was a lie, that he’d been busy. But no. It was just another comment on the viral video of Daniel cheating on me. It still stung. Every word was a reminder that I was the campus joke. "There he is," Victor said, gesturing toward the entrance. I didn't look up. I didn't want to see another happy face. I kept my eyes glued to my lap, picking at the silk of my dress.

One more night of pretending I don’t know what I know. Then I’ll text my father. And end this. Because the moment I hand over that USB… this game changes. And so does everything else.

The tides were shifting, and for once, the floor was tilting under Viper’s feet. “This,” I said, turning slowly to face the audience, “is the real video.” The crowd’s eyes widened as they realized the truth of what they were witnessing. “You’ve been played, every one of you”. I could feel Damien’s hand tighten around mine. The intensity in his gaze was unmistakable…..pride, surprise, and something else, something more. He had known about my plan, but seeing it unfold so perfectly, so effortlessly... it was all coming together. The twist in this game wasn’t just that I’d had the foresight to leak the video. It was that I had known exactly what Viper would do. I had played her every step of th

They're only pawns within my broad game. "A question Alex?" He requests. Hope the question emerges reasonable and less dumb than his appearance and intelligence. "Why wasn't my face edited from the video?. You promised my edition and I never replayed the video before Damien did" he inquires. "To kill you dummy!" I lash. "What?" They gasp. Pretence sucks. Seems best I unviel my plan towards them. "To kill you bitches. You know numerous secrets relating kara and I. Our relationship, secret route,s*x and much more. You both deserve death to bury those secrets" I explain unborthered.
