Cains pov: The feeling of a blade slicing through my palm woke me up. The scenery was strange, the sight of Leah bleeding to death was the first thing that startled me. I felt fear for the first time in almost two hundred years. I felt real fear. Reuben was still knocked out and Riley was chanting, as our blood fell to the ground forming a straight line towards the coffin. That coffin, what was inside, was what bothered me. If that thing was resurrected it could wipe out all the Werewolves, humans and other creatures for its own pleasure.

The door swung open, and there stood Chester, who was supposed to have been a fixture in the morgue for the past two weeks. I nodded at him, my face a blank slate. "It's been a while!" The relatives froze, their exchanged glances screaming silent panic. "Ah!" "He's alive!" "I said we shouldn't visit the morgue after midnight, but no, you had to see for yourselves!" "All this for a few bucks from selling their organs? It's not worth dying over." My aunt, gripping Theodore's arm and shaking it, wailed. I let out an icy laugh, lifted my hand, and gave Chester a slap that left a red mark blazing on his cheek.

“Move,” Evelyn said. And the convoy pushed forward together. The first infected came through the brush with its jaw hanging crooked and rainwater slicking its gray skin. It stumbled into the trail as if the slope had thrown it there, arms lifting toward the mass of warm bodies packed between the firs. Rowan met it before it found balance. His knife flashed once, low and efficient, and the infected dropped sideways into the mud without a full sound leaving its throat. Another lurched behind it.

Without delay, she arrived at the dead female body even faster than the Flash. Though she could not quite see her face, she did not care. The important thing now was to occupy the body. Immediately after possessing her body, Tang Yazhu felt an intense amount of pain. Even though Tang Yazhu was in pain, she quietly rejoiced. 'Finally! I finally possess a body now!' Tang Yazhu happily thought. However, this was not the time to dilly dally! Her body was still bleeding and she needed to be saved or else there was no use in her possessing this body as she would die again from excessive blood loss.

There Were some holes in the walls as well but there were only a few. Suddenly. the event flashback in my head and I wanted cry. Thinking I needed some fresh air. I dccided to go out and walk for a bit. I know I should not go out for it might be too dangerous but it was still morning.

the voice said again, this time his voice was more dangerous and very scary. She closes her eyes tightly. She will never open her eyes. But just like her two feet, her eyes open involuntary. "No. No. No," she said repeatedly as her eyes slowly open by themselves. It's her own eyes but she can't control them. When Arra opened her eyes, the thing that she was scared earlier really happened. She saw the tall scary man lying inside the coffin with his eyes closed. And then his red sharp eyes slowly open and met her gaze. He smiled at her before he speaks loudly. "I now finally awake!"

My heart drops as the door flies open, and in steps a figure I never thought I’d see again. The Original vampire—the one we thought had been killed months ago. His eyes gleam with dark amusement as he steps inside.

Its eyes were gouged out, and a large chunk of his arm and leg were missing.
