With her back still to me and her head hung low, she said, “Just trust Wally. Stay away from the Walters.” I was about to ask her why when she added, “Please change the subject.” Wally shifted the mood almost immediately by bounding back into the stable with an enormous smile on his face. “I had a great time. Thanks for inviting us. Maybe we can do it again sometime.” He turned to Cindy. “We’d better hurry back or dad will have a fit.”

There was a lot of energy swelling inside me. “Just that wolf is enough for you. I don’t want you burning this place with your madness,” he said, smiling at me. Excitement filled my heart. I didn’t know what to do first. Cadell stood aside and said, “You’ve lived with other werewolves, so it shouldn’t be hard.” “Okay,” I replied, still trying to choose one. “Um… Running? Yeah, let me try that first.” Taking my position, I decided to run to a tree which was close then back at the starting point, just to test my speed. But when I moved… “AHHH!” I ran into the tree and fell to the ground.

POV Willow After we got outside, I hid behind a tree and undressed. I shifted quickly and ran out. There were murmurs of surprise when the others saw me but Tracy and Zack just smiled at me and held out the kids toys. Nox and I smelled them deeply and after a moment, Nox had a vision.

Gabby begged, although she was enjoying herself way more than she thought she would. “I’ll do just that,” Walter said before he let her go and ran away. A bold smile splattered on his face. she fell into the water, and some of it entered her mouth. Soaking wet from the head, she could not help but laugh and chase after Walter, who ran every which way to get away from her. “You cannot catch me, haha,” he yelled while running before he bumped into Andrew. “Did you see that Andrew?” He asked hiding behind Andrew’s back to get away from the soaking wet crazy woman running after him.

William goes after him but Vincent is already increasing their distance as he runs barefoot at full speed. Although confused, William also jumped out of the window and goes after the runaway.

West’s chest caved in, followed by him swaying and backing away with a staggering gait. “Blurgh!” Mr. West spat out a mouthful of fresh blood and looked at Kayson in shock. Then, he turned his head and ran to the door right away. “Mr. West!” Dawson’s expression changed drastically. ‘Mr. West is actually trying to run away!?’ Would Kayson let him off? It was apparent that the answer was no. Kayson kicked at a chair and sent it smashing onto Mr. West’s head heavily. A thud sounded when Mr. West collapsed to the ground and stopped moving.

He got closer to my side and I realized he was guiding me from beside me. I smiled and glanced over my shoulder, the Warriors were blocks behind us. They had not shifted. I don't think they realized I was able to run as fast as a wolf until it was too late. Eckley and I kept running. I had never taken this trail. It was pretty, curving through a park with lots of trees before coming out behind the town. The Warriors were out of sight now.

Do you want to try running now? He side glanced her way when he asked. She felt hesitant, but eager all the same as she nodded. Jayce nudged her gently before he picked up his pace. Lily followed his lead. Little by little, his speed increased just a fraction in order to have her keep up with him. Before she knew it, she was running. Trees blurred past her. The ground shook from the weight of her paws striking the soil. She leapt over rocks and splashed through small streams. She hadn't felt such freedom before.

Hazel gasped and shot away from her chair with her palm clasped over her mouth. Dallan's face was creased in pain, his palm pressed tightly over his stomach. The celebration crashed. Everyone ran forward at the same time. Hazel had always heard about the agility of wolves. She saw it in action. Even in their normal form, they ran way faster than an average human. She almost mistook Kai for a gust of wind. The beta was the first to stand beside Dallan even though he had stayed at the back.
