These were worlds that failed to survive during the Chaotic Era. One of these worlds was Alr. Alr was more desolate than any other world in the universe. There wasn’t a patch of grass or a well of water in the entire planet. It was the true definition of the word barren.

I rested my face between my hands and laughed incredulously at how stupid I was at that not-so-distant time. In spite of everything, I felt happy to have learned a lot and grown from it all. The submissive and foolish Helena no longer existed and I couldn't be prouder. As Queen Beyoncé would say: Who run the world? Girls! Which meant that no man deserves to waste our time and our mental health. I opened the book, hoping that I could concentrate on the subject, since my mind kept focusing on only one thing: John and Cassie's breakup.

My fingers stopped working when the pages of the book flipped open by themselves. I was astounded. It stopped at a page. A page I desperately read. And so it was said, that every millennium.
