The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

She always spoke softly to Tyron. We all looked at her curiously. How did they differ? She clicked her tongue before answering our questioning stares. “Well you guys use your wolves to heal, were-cats use our felines, but we purr and the vibrations are soothing and healing, sending like magnetic waves through our bones that help us heal better.” Note to self, read up on were-cats. The conversation had to come back around to me and my wolf again. I groaned. I was really getting fed up with it. I have always been a freak and now I would never not be a freak.

It's been a wonderful journey reading through these stories (book 1 to book 3). If you are new here, you can start with this book then book 2 (Rise of a Queen) and book 3 (The Gladiator Wolf King). I am now reading book 4 (HUNJI: A Broken Wolf & The Last Witch of Andora). You won't be disappointed!

The Grumpy Alpha and His Chubby Mate

The Grumpy Alpha and His Chubby Mate

What is this massive warrior talking about? "I was worried the simple herbs would not be enough gold," Theo says, sitting back down on the stool and dropping two massive leather sacks right at my feet. "So I ran a scrying search on what a female needs. I got you more healing balms. A heated river-stone bottle." He pulls the items out one by one. "Pain rub. A huge assortment of sweet herbal teas. Lip balm for when your teeth clench in pain. And cotton pads for different flows." I stare at the pile, my mouth wide open.

Betrayed Luna ended up on Father in laws bed

Betrayed Luna ended up on Father in laws bed

Alcazar assured him. Elijah nodded at the warriors, who parted ways, making way to Alcazar and the Alphas. Alcazar rushed to the Silvershade pack house. He gave the misty dew herbs, which only grow in the night and will dry up after sunrise. They are extremely tender and filled with medicinal properties that can heal any kind of ailment. "Squeeze these herbs between your finger tips and feed them to the queen. They will help" Alcazar instructed the pack doctor.

Imprinted On By The Lycan King

Imprinted On By The Lycan King

I would go as far as to say that he can be a really rational person. But I understand why he is angry; he has made it clear before he left that he just wants to live a quiet life with his family. He was never really interested in power despite being one of the strongest werewolves alive. I looked at my mother, and she handed me a list that had herbs on it. “What is this? These are all herbs,” I said to her, and she nodded. “Herbs are meant to help us. They help us maintain our health and even have a healing effect. But if mixed a certain way, they can become poison,” she explained, and I nodded.

THE ALPHA'S FORGOTTEN MATE

THE ALPHA'S FORGOTTEN MATE

He asked me. To me that was a silly question so I didn't reply. Then I remembered that my Beta Derrick knows a bit about the western warrior pack. I then asked him a few questions about the herb that I was going to western warrior pack for. "That herb is guided by jealousy by those packs. Sometimes I feel like they even worship it" he replied with mockery in his eyes. Then suddenly he looked at me sharply. "Don't tell me you are going to the western warrior pack for that herb" he almost shouted.

The Crimson Grimalkin - Book 5

The Crimson Grimalkin - Book 5

His penetrating gaze made me feel guilty. I do know what they can do to me. To my feline. Wolfsbane isn’t just for werewolves, it's very effective on werecats too. The pills are cut with a combination of amphetamines, wolfsbane, and Nightshade. Two highly poisonous substances. Low doses or not, that concoction should only be taken on a low and as-needed basis. Long-term or overuse can put my feline into hibernation or worse, slowly kill her. “It inhibits your mind, blocks your spirit animal.” He answers for me when I say nothing.

Ms. Supernatural
I absolutely love this book, actually, the whole series! I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that this series should not only be published in hardcover but transformed into either an epic movie or miniseries! I would definitely buy DVDs!! You have an amazing imagination and a gift for being an author!

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

THE WILD CAT

THE WILD CAT

Below them, a sea of subordinates stood in suffocating silence. “The Wild Cat Crew has faced an influx of threats,” Armani’s voice sliced through the room like a blade. “And we do not tolerate weakness.” In the back of the hall, Riley leaned toward Skylar, her voice a jagged whisper. “Wait—this ‘crew’ is actually called the Wild Cats?” “Keep your voice down,” Skylar hissed, her eyes darting nervously. “And yes. It’s an honor.” Riley let out a sharp, mocking scoff. “An honor? It’s pathetic. It’s lame.”

Rejected Mate: The Persistent Alpha Wants Me Back

Rejected Mate: The Persistent Alpha Wants Me Back

"You guys just try to keep her calm." Me and Kate leave them in the backyard and walk into the house and go to the kitchen where I bring out a mortar and pestle and start listing out the herbs I need Kate to get for me. "I need yarrow, rue, oak, rosemary, cedar bark, pine sap and wolfsbane." She turns and looks at me in shock as I mention wolfsbane. "Are you sure, Lena?" "I'm not but its the only thing strong enough to burn the drugs out of her bloodstream. I have to believe she's strong enough with her being a Luna."

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

The Ex-Husband's Revenge

Unfortunately, the Emperor Herb was a mild herb with no specific properties, while the methods the Dagleshs trained in were light methods. This meant that the Emperor Herb was not compatible with him. If he used it anyway, his power would be enhanced but it would be impossible for him to get to the next power level with it. Hence, to prevent wasting such a valuable herb, he preserved it for another time. It was not until now that this herb came in handy. Cynthion Group sold alchemical pills and needed a large supply of rare herbs for it. The rarer these herbs were, the better. Elder Daglesh assumed that Emperor Herb would be useful to Leon, so he retrieved it to present it as a gift, hoping

Every1 listen up! If they keep posting only 1 chapter a day, we shud simply stop reading. It is quite disorienting. Waiting a couple of weeks will solve 2 problems. 1) Enough chapters to keep it engaging. 2) More importantly, hurt their pockets. It could lead them to change this pathetic behaviour.

ive read up to 472 chapters but ive lost my phone 3 times so i keep having to start again from the beginning. Frustrating but i like the story and i like the central character so ill persevere yet again. I have to know if Leon gets back with Iris which i think he should get with Ariel or the other 1

The Rejected True Heiress

The Rejected True Heiress

“What?” “The test came back positive for moongrass, yarrow, and mugwort,” the nurse said, holding the strip up for all to see. The original light blue color was now a deep purple. “All three are common herbs used in the creation of the strength tonic known as ‘Wolf’s Edge’. It’s a liquid known to give the drinker brief but unprecedented strength and speed.” Some scattered laughter rose around the room. As if this was a fucking joke. Jessica, now looking supremely proud of herself, announced loudly, “So it’s true, then. Liora is a cheater, just like we all thought.”

Great story and characters. Absolutely hooked! However do feel like the story is dragging on a bit and when you feel like its coming to a close something else happens and it starts all over again. Hoping its coming to a end soon and MC gets her happy ending.

Frequently Asked Questions

The books themselves don't have a formal, separate guide, but the herbal knowledge is scattered throughout the series. Characters like Yellowfang, Cinderpelt, and Jayfeather are always rattling off uses. It's the kind of thing you pick up over many books.

I actually made my own list once. Common ones are catmint (or catnip) for greencough, poppy seeds to make a cat sleep and ease pain, juniper berries for bellyaches, and cobwebs to stop bleeding. There's also things like horsetail for infected wounds, and chervil for belly pain or kitting. I remember Goldenflower getting dock leaves for a sore paw once, too.

Some of it's obviously fictional for the world, like traveling herbs or deathberries. But a lot are real plants with real historical uses, which is a cool detail Erin Hunter included. Trying to remember them all is half the fun of a re-read.

I sometimes wonder if it'd be helpful for a real cat to eat some of these. Probably not, but my brain goes there.
