I ditch the shirt and socks and slide naked under the covers, sprawling back like a king who’s been temporarily banished from his throne. “Mew.” A puffed-up black furball is glaring at me from the pillow, green eyes full of judgment and betrayal. “Sorry, pal,” I mutter, scooping Doom up and tucking him against my chest. I flip on the TV. Animal Planet. And as if sitting here rock-hard, waiting for a woman to shave her legs, clearly isn’t cruel enough on its own, they show the mating ritual of … cats. Doom sits upright, suddenly very invested, following every word the narrator is saying.

Instinct would make it impossible to walk away when he hears the mating call of a feline in heat. He nuzzles me and I give in to the pleasure, nipping at his neck while rubbing my backside against him. He bites my neck, not hard enough to hurt me, and begins to mount me. He is aroused and I can see his eyes lower and hear the guttural growl of a male cat wanting to mate. I jump sideways, and manage to break his hold. I stare into his eyes in a lust filled challenge, and I see his eyes darken. His attempts to bite my neck again in the age old mating dance of the wild cat. were in battle with a large number of cats. They must have planned an ambush thinking the wolves would be caught in the traps. I didn’t want to run into the middle of the fight because I didn’t want to distract my mate so I made my way around the edge of the fight picking off cats as I went and making sure not to hurt any of the warriors in the process. Being a dragon I was able to fight and keep an eye on my mate. You could say I was a true multitasker. My magic was very strong. My Alpha mate was a fighter like none I have ever seen. His wolf Maxim was lethal using his teeth and claws to rip the cats apart. I was proud to have such a strong mate. Even covered in blood he was magnificent. H

“Why would they care about—” “They heard about your double bond,” her mother said quietly. “It’s already spreading.” Of course it was. “No wolf in recorded history has had two mates,” Elder Marek added. “Some believe it’s a sign from the Moon Goddess. Others think it’s… something darker.” Racheal stiffened. “Like what?” “An omen. A fracture in the natural order. The last time the mate bonds were disrupted, it led to war.” She swallowed hard. “This isn’t my fault.”

Pushing aside my thoughts, I stealthily approach my mate's house, going upstairs to retrieve her. As I ascend the stairs to her room, the connection between us strengthens with each step. The anticipation builds, and when I open the door, she's there, nestled by her ceiba. Holding her in my arms, an overwhelming sense of warmth and tranquility washes over me, almost prompting a pleasurable moan. Being both werewolf and warlock, the intensity of the mating bond amplifies these emotions.

He licked his lower lip while taking rapid breaths, and his chest was rising and falling, making him even more handsome. "And you are my mate." He said he was leaving me in confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked him back. "You are the mate of this alpha baby." He winked at me while chuckling softly. "I am your mate." I blinked my eyes, showing a piece of confusion on my face. "Yeah, you are a mate." He smiled. Omg, I didn't know about this. "But can a human be the mate of a wolf?" I inquired with a piece of doubt.

Guilt and regret warred in Damien's heart like clashing blades, his Bloodline Authority fluctuating dangerously with each surge of emotion. After a long moment, his voice emerged cold as winter, each word carrying the weight of a Lord's command: "Serena is my only mate," he growled, fangs dropping. "My blood chose her, even if I was too blind to see it." "Whether she lives or dies, she is the only one I will claim. The blood bonds don't lie - they never accepted Vivienne."

He really did not know what to say. "We have to fix this' ' Alpha duke said, giving Lucas a serious look. It took Lucas a while to realise what the Alpha was saying. When an Alpha wolf had been fated by the goddess, they couldn't take another mate unless their ordained mate should die by any means. Then and only then can the moon goddess fate him to someone else "No" Lucas shook his head "I'm not going to kill her" he said, frowning

The possibilities were endless. “Tigers don’t have to necessarily mate with another tiger, and it’s not that common actually, if they do mate with another animal or even a human, the baby will be whatever the most dominant of the two is. If I mated a lion, we would have lions, if I mated a human we would have tigers,” he explained. “Wow, that’s so interesting! So is your mate fated like wolves, or you just choose…” she was wide eyed.
