I gasped. Lunar Eclipse was more of a pack of mercenaries. No one knew the real names of the pack members, as they all had some sort of code name. The Alpha of the pack was known as Shadowstrike. Shadowstrike was considered the ultimate warrior, with skills that a normal werewolf didn’t possess. He could strike his opponents down with a single blow, but it wasn’t just because he was strong. There was a rumor that he could expel some sort of energy in his attacks that could knock someone down without ever touching them.

“Who did this?” One of the warriors came forward. “We found something.” Two warriors dragged a struggling figure into the clearing. Johnson Gray. Not again. Why was he always involved in all the bad stuff? My heart slammed against my ribs. Evan’s fists clenched. “You.” Johnson sneered, shaking off the warrior’s grip. “I should’ve succeeded,” he spat. “You think you can just take what’s mine? I have worked so hard and hoped to become the Alpha. But you showed up from nowhere and you think you can humiliate me and claim the Alpha title just like that?”

He opens the door and Adrianna lunges at him while giggling and talking a million miles an hour about her souvenirs that her Aunt Lisa had gotten her. We head inside where Shane pulls me into him and walk straight over to where Austin and Candice are standing with an older couple. The man has a cut on, like the rest of the Warriors, but this one looks different. It's worn, a few holes in it, and on the bottom of the Nightmare Warriors lettering, it says Chesapeake Chapter. "Shane?" "Hmm?" He answers stopping with Adrianna still flung to his chest. She somehow managed to grab hold of one of the mini sandwiches from the platters of food.

“Alpha Grey promised to reveal what his men saw at the ambush site, but only to you. He wouldn’t tell the chief warrior or anyone else from Nightbane. He told only me this.” I frown. “Why?” She swallows, her hand still pressed over mine on her stomach. “To avoid starting a war we aren’t sure of. Whatever his warriors witnessed… it terrified them enough to keep silent until you could hear it yourself.” The weight of her words settles over me like a coming storm. Secrets. Blood. A traitor still walking freely in my pack. My wolf stirs again, hungry and restless. Whatever Grey’s men saw, it will point me toward the real enemy. And when I find them, there will be no mercy.

I heard a rustling of leaves behind me, making me turn sharply. It was Gray, though I don’t talk much about him, but he’s my most loyal warrior I’ve ever had among the people working with me here in Devil’s Bay, and he will be my Beta when I finally take the Pack from Roderick. He emerged from nowhere, his eyes following mine until he saw what I had invested my time in. “Alpha,” he started casually. “If I’m not wrong, you’ve been watching for hours. Shouldn’t we at least return to Devil’s Bay before them?”

“Did you really think that I’d let you take me into custody? Rylan smirked back. “I have my own pack of warriors that listen and are loyal to me.” He smugly said. “Oh, those poorly trained wolves?” Ryle started, “my warriors were able to take them down without breaking a sweat.” She snickered. “Only one man got away, but my warriors will find him, he won’t get far. The whole territory is surrounded.” She informed but she could see Rylan’s chest rise up and down, he was laughing. “Laugh all you want Rylen.” She said standing in front of him. Chase and Caleb were right by her side, “we let you sneak in.” She snickered as Ryder hugged her from behind.

What… what was happening? Before I could ask, another warrior approached carrying a black cloak. Unlike mine… this one bore the silver crescent emblem of Silver Moon Pack stitched across the shoulder. The head warrior gestured, and the warriors immediately released me. My knees buckled, and I collapsed onto the ground. The head warrior tossed the cloak toward me. "Wear it." I stared at him in confusion. "You have one hour." His voice was cold. "Leave Silver Moon territory before then. If you're found here after that..."

The suffering of others brought him pleasure, and he commanded the strongest army within the largest pack. Standing tall at 6'2", his physique boasted an eight-pack, a sculpted form resembling that of a demigod with thick brown curls cascading. As Alpha, his wolf, Xerxes, was the mightiest among the mountain wolves. Wyatt's cyan blue eyes flashed, darkening as the man before him froze in response to the overwhelming aura he radiated. "The question is, Grayson, who the hell are you? A reporter or a hunter?" the question echoed, but Grayson remained silent. Wyatt's eyes darkened, a low growl escaping from his chest.
