They were far behind, on the outskirts of the city, separated by several huge bounds. * * * * * Timothy snarled and lunged at the closest warrior, his jaws closing around the man’s midsection. Tossing his head, the man went flying, screaming as he went. It was a victory, yet the magic sticks of the warriors struck his body over and over again. There were too many of them. His body listed as the stinging blows rained down on him, the enraged faces of the warriors filling his vision. He raised his head and howled mournfully. All the warriors halted for a moment, their hands stilling and their faces going white. Then the blows resumed.

I ask. “You do.” Gregory said quickly. “You are going to work together to take down a gang of Rogues that have infiltrated the inner city.” The warriors looked at each other in surprise. Gregory set us up in what he lovingly called his “war room”. It was just a massive conference room filled with computers, maps, and wall to wall dry erase boards. The warriors took their places around the table and we spent the next several hours coming up with a plan of attack. The warriors knew each other so well that their ideas flowed together like a well-oiled machine.

“Are you guys ready to finally do as we were formed to do?” My eyes glared at Callighan as he lifted his head up to the sky. Once that loud howl came from him, we all prepared ourselves as the wolves charged at us altogether. All we could do was fight to our hearts desire.
