A ray of sunlight shone through the window and onto Lucas's face. Lucas opened his eyes and stretch lazily. "You've obtained Zombie Treasure Chest x7." The System rang in Lucas' mind. Lucas opened the Zombie Treasure Chests: "Obtained 300 Genetic Points, 300 Strenght Points, 300 Speed Points, 300 Defence Points. "Obtained a Zombie Exclusive Skill, Triple Ghostly Murderous Sword." Lucas was thrilled to get whatever he wanted. At the moment, Sven only had the Cutting Sword and did not have a Zombie Exclusive Skill yet.

Still, it was worth it. With nothing better to do, Laura decided to take a look at the new features from levelling up. Not much had changed but there was a new category of skills that she could now train in by completing tasks instead of purchasing the skills for upgrades with soul points. The second stage gave one a x3 boost per move and the last stage increased the strength of each move exponentially. "These are fabulous techniques. They must be high rank skill books", the voice of the 1st was filled with surprise as he praised the books. Skill books had only three ranks- low, middle, and high. High rank skill books were precious but not rare. But it was surprising to find a high rank skill book that could be studied by mortality realm cultivators.

I replied to the guild receptionist. "And here are three books from the guild. The first is the guild regulations book, the second is the monster encyclopedia book, and the third is the plant encyclopedia book. Every new adventurer is required to have these three books. It's fifty cryptos for all of them, and that includes the registration fee," she spoke like a well-programmed AI robot. I took fifty cryptos from my storage and handed them to the guild receptionist. Now, I used my Storage skill to conceal it, making it appear as if I was taking something out of my jacket.

Grants the user the Passive Skill: Sword Mastery. As far as Golden knew, there were three types of skills: Battle Skills, Magic Skills, also known as Spells, and Passive Skills. To train the first two, it was indispensable to start practicing a Path, while for the third, it didn't matter, but obtaining a Passive Skill was more about luck than any other thing.

This continent was mostly desert, only the outlying countries closer to bodies of water had vegetation. If wasn’t for the desert heat I would have run in Wolf form. Unfortunately, the sand and dirt would have burnt my paws, there was nowhere to stop for water and there was little to hunt out here. Running in Wolf form would have consumed a ton of energy and would need to eat. Not to mention I would die of heat exhaustion before I could even cross the wastelands. *****
