Novel & Cerita Watch The Scorch Trials

I put down my chips and gulped down a bottle of Earl Grey tea to calm down. When I looked back at the screen, Jennifer was lying in a pool of blood. Gavin was beside himself with excitement, scooping up her blood with empty water bottles. He kept muttering, "Can't let it go to waste, can't let it go to waste!" This time, it was not me on the menu, it was Jennifer. I quickly saved a copy of the video. Even though the internet was spotty, I managed to video call Gavin. He was thrilled to see me okay and could not wait to show off his latest wins.

Scott sounded equally annoyed as he snapped, "Shirley never ceases to amaze me! I can't believe she'll even hide in such a dump to avoid us. The moment I see her, I'll—" The rest of his sentence died in his throat, and the expression on his face slowly froze. As Devin followed Scott's stunned gaze, his eyes fell on my memorial portrait. Then came Vanessa's hollow voice. "You're here to harvest Shirley's kidneys, aren't you? Well, both of her kidneys are in this tin."

A steward stood there, pale and wide-eyed. “Lady Valkhara,” he said, bowing too deeply. “A message from the Council.” Azric moved first, snatching the scroll from his hand and unrolling it. His eyes scanned the page—then narrowed. “They moved the Trial.” “What?” I asked. “It’s tonight,” he said. “Not tomorrow.” Sevrin stood, already reaching for his shirt. “Why?” The steward stammered. “Because… because one of the remaining competitors didn’t return from their Trial. They were found—”

Blackmoon hadn’t just expelled her. They were hunting her. Maybe Xavier. Maybe the Council. Maybe even her father. She didn’t wait to ask questions. She disappeared into the woods before he could call for help—limping, shaking, but alive. --- Meanwhile at Blackmoon academy. The first round of Final Trials was set to begin by sunrise, and Lucian Wolfe had been chosen as the lead for Trial One—Command and Siege. It was a leadership-based challenge, the kind that demanded strategy, ruthlessness, and precision.

He breathed in contempt. Taheem walked into the tent, breaking Sheikh's Khalid's train of thoughts and bowed in greeting. Khalid smirked when Omar walked in, holding the American to his side. He watched the girl, her disheveled look as a result of the harsh desert winds and the fear which registered in her eyes he recognized as her fear of him. She looked away. Khalid looked at Taheem without speaking a word and he understood, the man reached out and grabbed Megan's other arm, yanking her free from Omar and pulled her to himself tightly.

"What's next?" Kali straightened, her voice firm. "The Trial of Shadows. It will test your courage and your will to face the parts of yourself that you fear the most. The transition to the next trial was seamless, like the world around us shifting with the smoke in a breeze. Soon I stood before a tranquil pool whose face reflected the moon above, glassy. The air was cool, with an eerie silence hanging in the air.

“They’re all here to watch Fiona get publicly humiliated. Once Chief Judge Kelly rejects her live on air, Fiona’s bloodline will be stripped permanently.” Ezekiel smiles coldly, swirling his goblet. “Azel Whitmore thought he could play with the big dogs. Today, I put his little studio in the dirt where it belongs.” Suddenly, the heavy horn of the Arena echoes across the valley, signaling the start of the live broadcast. Chief Judge Kelly steps onto the center stage, her harsh, authoritative voice booming through the magical amplification runes. “Welcome to the Bloodmoon Trials! Today, we address the sanctuary petition of the disgraced warrior, Fiona Hilton, sponsored by Frostclaw Studio!”

"All of them. Whatever it takes." "Good." The Guardian gestured, and the entire cavern shook. Walls began to shift, passages opening and closing. "Then let the second trial begin. Regenerating. The sight hits me harder than any blade ever could. Between them, held carefully as if it is sacred, floats something impossible.
