Jack sat on his office chair, going through some reports and chatting with some of his human friends who missed him, asking when he would be back. "Alpha! Did you hear the news?" Waylon questioned, and Jack paused what he was doing with his computer and looked up at Waylon. Waylon wore a blue shirt and black trousers, looking handsome and shining brightly with his broad smile. Jack frowned, wondering what Waylon was so excited about. "What's it? Have you proposed to your mate?" Jack asked, seeming uninterested in the point of conversation as he sat on his executive office chair, his gaze fixated on the computer once more.

Waylon smiled and coaxed her, "No. You can go anywhere you want. I'm just afraid that you will feel hot..." Tracy immediately took out a large sunshade from her bag, waved it, and said, "I prepared a sunshade. I won't let Mrs. Swale get sunburnt, so please don't worry, Mr. Swale." Waylon was the mayor of Sapphire City. All along, Tracy knew that Trevor had been working for a big shot. Now she thought it was probably Waylon. Other than him, Tracy couldn't think of anyone else who could easily get Trevor out of this crisis and controversy.

“When Chana recovers, I’ll even make you her godfather! Nobody will stand in your way with the Jackson family’s support! “We have authority here in the city!” Waylon was satisfied with Mrs. Jackson’s words of reassurance. He casually kept the check and put his medicine box down before grabbing the bottle of alcohol inside. “Of course! Since you’re being so generous…” he said while rubbing his hands with alcohol. “I’ll do my very best! “I’ll calm Ms. Jackson—no, my goddaughter’s energy right now! “She’ll definitely wake up! “Give me half an hour!” White smoke was appearing in between Waylon’s fingers. At this very moment, he looked just like an expert.

It was just strange that he was submitting to me without me doing more than shove him into a tree. “He’s part of our pack, Luna,” a familiar voice called out. “Why are you calling her Luna?” Alex questioned out of breath. Alex is here? I turned my head and looked behind me. Trooper Bryant stood, though not in uniform, with all his piercings and arm tattoos on display. Next to him, trying to catch his breath, was Alex. “I told you to stay back at the house, boy. Are you deaf or just too dumb to do what a trooper tells you?” Bryant rolled his eyes.

She shouldn't have come to beg that cold-blooded man. In front of the window on the second floor, Alexa West stared at the back of Amy Collier's departure, and a sneer and smugness slowly appeared on the corner of her lips. You want to save that woman? Oh, dream on! And shortly after Amy Collier left, a commercial vehicle drove into the yard. Diana carefully carried Oliver Smith, who had just been discharged, into the house, and Olivia Smith obediently followed. As soon as he entered the room, Alexa West greeted him and said gently, "Leave Oliver to me"

Grayson watches the segments of broken rock tumble back down to earth sheepishly. "I needed your attention," he yelled back, his voice carrying easily up to the window. I roll my eyes, planting my hands on the window sill so I wouldn't go tumbling out. "There would be know no attention to be had if you had knocked me unconscious!" Grayson, despite the situation, lets out a little chuckle, as if it's the most entertaining thing he's witnessed, but he's trying to keep it in. Even I find myself smiling a little. "Sorry, I was trying to be romantic" he tells me.

Austin says, knowing I’m about to make a serious call. “Thanks, Austin,” I say, sneaking out of my office to go to his so I can call Alpha Waylon in private. I take a deep breath and dial. He answers on the third ring. “Alpha Waylon.” “Alpha Waylon, this is Alpha Roman Hartwell.” “Alpha Roman, this is an unexpected call. What can I do for you?”

“No, his main purpose was to stall me so I’d be occupied… Is there anything particular going on today?” Swenson shook his head. None that he knew of. Waylon racked his brain with a frown until his phone rang. “It’s from Seth?” The moment he answered, Seth spoke immediately. “Mr. Pattingson, Dickinson International’s gone to the Millers.” Waylon froze before he was struck with realization! “It’s Taylor Yost!” Waylon scowled. It was just a Dickinson International project, but Taylor insisted on rubbing it in his face. “Can you brief me about what actually happened, Mr. Jackson?”

He always mistreats me whenever the Alpha is not around. Alpha Waylon Hunter is a kind Alpha in his early forties. He was quite devastated when his mate and daughter passed away, such that he almost died of depression but with the help of some therapists, he eventually overcame everything and he's now in a better place, running this Pack as if his life depends on it... well, it sure does.
