Early sources for belief in this ability or affliction, called lycanthropy/laɪˈkænθrəpi/, are Petronius (27–66) and Gervase of Tilbury (1150–1228).

WEREWOLF A werewolf or lycanthrope is a mythological or folkloric human with the ability to shapeshift into a wolf or a therianthropic hybrid wolf-like creature, either purposely or after being placed under a curse or affliction. -Wikipedia Werewolf usually lives in packs. The pack will be organized by some wolves that are stronger or have more superior abilities than the others. A werewolf is a human with the capability to shape-shift into a wolf or a wolf-like creature; the conditions for this transformation vary. Most commonly, the full moon is the catalyst. Werewolves symbolize the struggle between human intellect and animals, as they are powerful and dangerous creatures driven by instinct.” She seems passionate about it, while I’m just concerned, “The origin of werewolves can be traced back to several theories that are based on mythology. In mythology, people can transform into wolves because of the gods. This is based on a

The elders, their fur grizzled and eyes reflective with the wisdom of countless moonlit nights, gathered in a sacred clearing where ancestral tales were etched into the very soil they tread. As the echoes of the prophecy reached the werewolf pack, a hushed murmur rolled through the assembled wolves, a ripple of unease that traveled through their furred ranks. Memories of a bygone era, a time when a werewolf heir had dared to love a vampire, resurfaced like ghosts from the past. The consequences had been dire, leading to a near-extinction of their pack.

I hesitated to tell her more, but it would be better if I got it all out. “Hope, there’s more,” I said. She immediately looked wary. “I know I said I was ready for your secrets, but I’m not sure I really am,” she confessed. “This one is a good one,” I said with a smile, praying that she would see it that way. She looked at me expectantly. “Werewolves get their wolf at eighteen. After that, their wolf is always looking for their mate. We mate with just one wolf, someone that the moon goddess picked for us. It’s called fated mates.”

It was said that when the very first werewolf was created, they were imbued with a choice. This was a choice to embrace either the primal light that granted them strength and unity, or the seductive darkness that promised power at a great cost. In this myth, I found the story of a courageous werewolf who faced the allure of the darkness but ultimately chose the path of light. With unwavering determination and the guidance of the moon goddess, they cast aside the shadowy temptations and stood as a beacon of hope for their pack.

Still, werewolves have a cult following, werewolf sightings are reported each year, and werewolf legends will likely continue to haunt the dreams of people throughout the world. I clicked on the folklore content and was immediately catapulted into stories of the first werewolf sighting. Stories in folklore and myths and how it connects to our present age. I read about Lycaon and Zeus. He was punished by Zeus for feeding the king of the gods the flesh of his own son and cursed to roam the earth as part man, part beast. Other stories about werewolf sighting weren't prettier. There was the 'Bedburg Werewolf' who committed various atrocities and heinous crimes: Peter Stubbe.

The corner of his lip curled so slightly, it was almost unnoticed. When he spoke, his voice was soft but there was pain in his eyes. "There was a time of peace and tranquillity in the underworld. Werewolves were distinguished by packs, Mages were united under one kingdom and so applied to the Vampires. The Werewolves were the largest in number, either born to or pledged allegiance to a pack. There were also the ones called rogues, who did not want to belong to any pack." He stood up and walked towards the window as he proceeded to speak.
