There were old fairy tales, so old they barely seemed recognisable anymore, that spoke of affronted gods casting down their children and making the first wolves. Some were classic tales, like the one about three pups going too near a river and being turned into toads to save them from drowning; others were cautionary tales, warning young wolves away from humans and forbidding any sort of romances between us and them – all in a fun, rhyming sort of way, of course.

I asked, leaning in to look at the paper. "Caleb’s map is saying something," Fenrir murmured, his deep voice full of a strange excitement. He pointed his thick finger at a series of small, circular symbols drawn near the northern mountains. "Look here. I glanced back at Kate, who was still talking with Damon down the path. This was her stuff, and she would be thrilled to hear this.

"None, the vampires get rid of any Alpha immediately, they rule the City, and they are not ready to share it with the werewolves, when are you coming out of isolation?" Jack Rich asked with expectation.

Caroline put her foot ahead then her mind said, " Hey! What are you doing? How can you believe in a stranger and that also in a guy." She again put her leg back. "Why are you thinking so much? Just get inside before he changes his mind to give you lift and leave you here alone. You're already a werewolf, brave daughter of a strong alpha of a pack." Her heart persuaded her. "So what if you're a werewolf? Nowadays, humans are more monsters than werewolves. " her mind warned her. "Oie.. Caroline flustered and uttered, " both of you stop fighting." She said so loudly that he got confused too and muttered to himself, " Both? " and he looked around out of the car from the window, " who's the other
