Hanging his head, Landon grappled with waves of fury that threatened to crush and suffocate him. Gulping, he gently traced her lovely profile with trembling fingers. One thing bothered him—why was she smiling when she died? She took a shot to the stomach and fell from a high place. Her bones were crushed upon impact, which felt painful just from the sound of it. Was she not afraid of the pain, like any ordinary young woman? "You look pretty when you smile. Why didn't you smile more when you were still around?" Landon mumbled in all seriousness. Bella hugged him right away and he hugged her back while he smiled at me. “How are you holding up with the break-up?” Bella asked worriedly. "I'm not sad... and just because some of our wishes haven't come true, it doesn't mean we should shut out everyone and be grumpy. Our smile is a great essence in our lives" He nods thoughtfully. "So... did you feel sad when your dad died?" "No!" I answered quickly.... Ok, way too quick. Andre frown at the tone I answered him.

It just wasn't making any sense to me. He smiled, as if he'd made peace with his decision to die. “No.” I said, barely breathing the words with tears in my eyes while shaking my head. “Do something, please. Try to save yourself.” He didn't utter a word. Instead, he held onto the smile on his lips as if it was some faith that was going to save him. There was nothing bad with that. If truly it was some faith that would save him, then I had no problem with that. I just didn't want him to die. However, that smile didn't look like something that would save him. And that was the annoying part of it.
