The Carrero Effect

The Carrero Effect

His comfort pains me, the way he can be asleep and still try to reassure me. “I’m okay, it wasn’t one of those dreams. I dreamed I was falling, and it gave me a fright.” I try not to move, knowing if I turn to him, I won’t stay here, I’ll leave. I don’t want to face reality and do this right now or give up being in his embrace just yet.

Melissa
Wonderful book, great character dynamic and storyline! Every emotion was tapped into! Enjoyed the Jake POV chapters at the end. On a serious not, Emma’s deep seeded issue are more common than we realize, and the issues associated with were address in way that encouraged & informed the reader!🤩💕

Amazing book! It was long but well worth it. I even wish there was more. I loved the bonus chapters but would also love an epilogue. There was a lot of character growth and maturity for both ML and FL. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Would love to see Daniel spin off.

Mated To The Predator

Mated To The Predator

It seemed like I was falling for a long time because I wasn't stopping— like I was in an abyss. "Lilian!" A soft feminine voice called me immediately in my hazy mind, and that was when I landed with a thud on the ground. I groaned loudly, but my hands first went to my belly. I rubbed it unconsciously. I knew this was a dream, but dreams were also really powerful and interconnected with the physical world. I didn't want to lose my child in the dream because that could mean losing him or her in real life.

Hidden Obsessions

Hidden Obsessions

“It could be also be a bunch of other things, but in your case, a sign makes sense.” “It’s a sign?” I repeat. “Hear me out, okay? The person or thing dragging you signifies Jack. Your fall signifies the fact that he always leads you or rather, drags you into trouble and you always hitting your head shows that nothing, absolutely nothing good, ever comes out of it.” “That’s quite a theory. You pick that up from your shows?” “Yes.” She replies confidently. “I have learnt that our mind can find ways to manifest the fear or uncertainties lurking in our subconsciousness. Yours could be through those nightmares. It could also be your mind’s way of warning you of danger.”

Honor in the House of Wolves

Honor in the House of Wolves

What was happening? This dream was slowly turning into a nightmare and I called out for him. He was supposed to be here. I collapsed to the ground, reaching out to the empty reflection as I fell, tears starting to fall down. Why was I so upset about this? It wasn’t real. Nothing about this was real, this dream could have ended so why didn’t I just make it end?

Nightmare

Nightmare

This time my sleep is plagued by nightmares and dreams alike. But I only remember one dream, that still plagues my mind when I wake up. I cry out from shock as I am pulled out of the nightmare. My whole body is trembling and I am covered in sweat, which has drenched my clothing making them stick to my body. The image still haunts me, Ash calling out my name, his hand reaching down to grab my hand as I fall. Then suddenly the dream freezes and words appear in the sky in blood red writing. ‘There coming’ then it flickers ‘were coming, be ready.’ Then suddenly I am falling again, than just before I hit the ground it blacks out. That’s when I woke up. I lie there as still as possible, too scared

FALLING For EDWARD

FALLING For EDWARD

A place Abby had passed before but never entered. She stared at the message for a long time. Her breath came slowly. Carefully. Like she was afraid if she breathed too hard, the truth might fall apart. The truth. Or another secret. She didn’t sleep that night. She lay in bed, curled up, holding her stomach, wondering if Edward’s missing daughter had just walked back into their lives. And what that meant for the baby now growing inside her. — The next morning came dull and gray. The kind of sky that made everything feel heavier.

The Professor's Mate Clause

The Professor's Mate Clause

FREYA'S POV The Dream or would I say nightmare shattered, leaving me breathless, I was running through darkness, Something was chasing me. Something with glowing eyes and sharp teeth. I can still hear it breathing. Getting closer. Closer. Then I was falling. Endless falling. Reaching for something. Someone. But there was nothing. Just empty air and the certainty that I was going to die alone. I wake up gasping. My heart pounds against my ribs. Sweat soaks through my shirt.

Alpha’s Blood Mate

Alpha’s Blood Mate

What does it all mean? May 19th Another dream. Thank God, this one was different. I really didn’t want to see that dead girl again. Though in some ways this one was worse. I knew I was in the same castle, but outside now, walking along a parapet. I was shouting at a man beside me. He wore familiar colors and kept bowing as I spoke. Some kind of servant. I couldn’t make out the words, but I knew I was furious with whatever he was saying. This dream was more emotional than the last one. Betrayal, paranoia, rage, grief, panic, all boiling inside me. When I woke up, I was drenched in sweat and breathing hard. I’m starting to think I know who these dreams are about. If I’m right, what does that m

In a nightmare

In a nightmare

You told me about them and I promised to always be there for you to protect you. I knew what I was talking about, one of my biggest fears. And I had several. Sometimes I had sleep paralysis, it was horrible not being able to move you, I felt like I would be trapped. I told Jay about it, I remember well what I told him: I'm afraid of being trapped in one of my dreams...I mean, in one of my nightmares. I'm afraid of going to sleep and not waking up afterwards. I'm afraid of not knowing if I'm living a reality or if it's all a figment of my imagination. I have many fears.
