Neil laughed from the front seat, clearly amused by the conversation. I thanked Jeremy and ended the call. Harley looked up at me. “I hope they don’t even get a chance to call you. I want to see the look on that asshole Beta’s face when he realizes I am a wolf.” She seethed, her wolf combining with her own voice. While Harley had been forthcoming with what had happened with the Beta, it seemed like there was a bit more that I had not been told. However, now was not the time for that type of conversation.

Henry answered the call, hoping to see the hacker, but was disappointed when he saw that there was no one there. It was just a portrait of the Joker. "I see the party is on already," the hacker said. " Maverick demanded. "I'm sorry. I didn't think." Hanna sobbed. Maverick pulled her to him in a tight hug. "I'm calling I.T. Getting him to trace it." "Ok." Hanna whispered. I.T. traced the calls back to the Joker's MC clubhouse. Jax told them that BJ Jr was handling it and for Maverick to stay away and let him handle it. He didn't want their alliance messed up.

I let my thumb trace over her knuckles as I resign myself to let go of her hands. “Never gonna happen!” The man’s voice calls out from somewhere behind Harley. “Shut the fuck up Kevin.” Harley yells out over her shoulder and sighs. She mutters curses to herself as she turns around to leave. I catch her repeating “Fuel for the fire, fuel for the fucking fire Harley.”

Harley seemed to heave in relief before she started speaking, “I know what I did was wrong, and spies are normally killed. But because of Diana's previous contributions to the pack and for the sake of the information I am about to give, I plead for you to let us go, and we will never appear in the Moonshine pack again.” Just as I was about to scoff at her rejection, she added another statement that made me pause. I reach out for the phone while Harley starts giggling Low tone. “Hi, Jane” his husky and clamoring voice tickles its way into my ear drums. The sound of it alone is enticing. “Hi” I also chuckled. Oh don’t get me wrong, I didn’t chuckle because of Hudson's voice. I almost chuckle because Harley has her ears clinging very close to mine just so she can hear my conversation with Hudson who she thinks it’s a Prince Charming.
