What Does Onyx Mean As A Name Novels & Stories

Our enemies are enthralled by the prophecy of the black onyx stone, because the stone grants its guardian great power and magical abilities. I am the guardian of the black onyx stone. The stone is a curse that has befallen my ancestors and will continue to be casted upon my descendants. Believe me when I say the stone is a curse because peace will never be upon us for as long as we remain the keeper of the stone.

Onyx said, his words causing Aza to furrow her brow. “Huh?” Aza asked, confused, earning a smile from Onyx, who turned to her. “Do you want me to fall for you?” Onyx asked, his words causing Aza to look down at her hand holding Onyx’s arm, quickly letting go when she understood his meaning. Onyx chuckled at her reaction. “I’m just joking, babe. Let’s go,” Onyx said, walking towards the car, causing Aza to roll her eyes as she followed behind him.

His fur was as raven as Onyx's and his striking eyes shone with the same icy blue as Dominic's. “You need to turn. I want to talk to him,” Onyx suggested. A moment later, and Dominic turned into his wolf as well. “Can you hear me? “ Onyx tried to reach out to DJ's wolf. “Yes I can,” DJ's Wolf answered. “What's your name? “ “Orion.” “That's a strong name.” Onyx praised. He stepped closer to Orion, and the pup raised his eyes to look at him. “I am your father.” “I know. I can feel it.”

“I don’t tell them everything. There are secrets I’ve had to keep from them before. If this is truly something they don’t need to know, I won’t be the one to tell them.” I sighed deeply. Fuck. I was really about to divulge a secret that wasn’t mine to someone else. But I needed someone that could help, and I needed some direction. I wasn’t good at giving backstories and all that shit, plus if Alpha Adrian was serious about five minutes, we only had a few left.” “Onyx is a vampire and werewolf hybrid.” No sense in beating around the bush, I always say. “Wait. What? How? Oh! Her mother, Iliana. That sneaky bastard!”

" Seeing Conan listening attentively and still showing her some respect, she went on to try persuading him. "Think this over carefully. Onyxite could help the court forge powerful weapons. It should be handed over to someone who can put it to good use. Do you really understand Henry? What if he keeps it for himself or sells it to another nation?" Conan suddenly felt as if he no longer recognized her. "If onyxite can strengthen Nidora, then Master will undoubtedly agree to hand it over to the court," he corrected her. "Commander, you may say that I lack talent, but you shouldn't assume I'm someone who only cares about personal gain.

“Onyx is.. my sister.” His sister? That didn’t seem too bad. Why would he be so worried about his sister? She couldn’t be any worse that Claudis, could she? “I didn’t know you had a sister.” “I have many siblings, but Onyx is by far the most dangerous. She is the youngest of us all and most vicious. She is like my father’s personal attack dog. Where I handle the more diplomatic side of things as the future leader, she is a warrior and one of the strongest, if not the strongest, that we have. She has killed many wolves, vampires and others, and it is not just because she must. She enjoys it. She absolutely despises wolves and doesn’t particularly care for humans, either. I am sure she will no

“Here he is, Luna. Your son.” It's a boy. Just like Atlas had predicted. “You won.” “I told you it would be a boy.” He sat beside me and I placed the baby in his arms..the way he looked at him. I wonder why he liked children so much. “Have you found a name for him?” He nodded. “Iniko Phoenix Garther.” Iniko. “What does it mean?” “Iniko is an African name. It means born out of chaos, and Phoenix because he came at a time like this. Garther is my father's name. Do you like it?”

I must not procreate to make another vessel ready to accept Onyx's soul in the next life. You see, Onyx has many names, his main one being Hati, and he has seemingly passed down my bloodline because I am related to his first human counterpart. Celeste seems to have an unknown soft spot for my wolf, and the stories pass around like Chinese whispers, changing with every person that tells the tales but from what I can gather, she never misses a lifetime for him. I'm hoping to break that cycle. If I cannot give her an heir to pass him down to, maybe that will be the deciding factor to prevent him from abusing these poor children I collect.

A frown spread on his lips before his eyes finally lifted to meet mine, “Onyx is a very… dominant Alpha. James struggled when he’d first met Onyx, far before he shifted for the first time.” A small smile graced his lips as he looked lost in thought at a time when James was so young. “He was only fifteen years old when Onyx made his first appearance,” a chuckle escaped his lips, “James was over the moon that his wolf was presenting at such a young age. He began taking everything more seriously thinking that his father would hand him down the pack early because of it.”

She look at Landon with a serious face. "would you have fought this hard if Luna wasn't effected like this?" Landon frown at what she is suggesting. "Of course, I just didn't know if it was possible to retrieve your animal when you lost it. Onyx means the world to me. Without him I am nothing." Bastet frown at what he said.
