What Does The Author's Perspective Mean Novels & Stories

Going to someone's book and making a comment like "This is not how it is supposed to go" or "This doesn't make sense because this isn't how author **** would write it" or "This is stupid, **** author would write it better" doesn't make any sense.

Her work is reframed as synthesis rather than revelation. She sees the maneuver immediately. They are trying to dissolve authorship. Ideas without authors can be absorbed. Ideas tied to a person become dangerous. The brother is asked casually, carefully whether he agrees with the assessment. He understands the trap. Agreement would weaken her legitimacy. Refusal would formalize alignment. He chooses a third option. “I think you’re asking the wrong question,” he says evenly. “The issue isn’t who said it first. It’s who made it unavoidable.”

In any story, there's a stage and backstage. The stage of a story is the part where the author shows a small part of her story world and the main character through a lens that is usually called a point of view. Everything that happens on the stage revolves around the main character. Author adjusts the lens as he guides the readers into seeing the world and the life of the main character while he controls the amount of information that is released to the reader.

"What do you hope to accomplish through your work?" She seemed surprised by my interest, studying me for a moment as if assessing my sincerity before answering. "I want to create work that makes people see familiar things differently," she said finally. "To show that perspective changes everything, that the same reality can appear transformed depending on how you approach it." Again, the metaphor resonated with our evolving situation, how the same arrangement could appear entirely different when viewed through shifting perspectives. Our marriage had begun as revenge instrument; now it existed in some undefined territory neither of us had anticipated.
