When his father turned towards the door, he frowned and shook his head. “That’s not possible Max” Jon said “There’s only one key and I have it. No one else can get in” “Dad, I’m telling you, the door was open!” Max said, his body walking up to the door “No Max, your father’s right” Carrie said with a frown “There’s only ever one key that gets passed to a new keeper. This is that door we told you about, the room that helps us with a book. As a fail-safe, the door automatically closes and locks itself. It’s enchanted to do that”

"Because whatever created you..." She stepped backward. "...is older than the universe." The golden door opened another inch. A deep heartbeat echoed from the other side. Boom.
