When The Darkness Falls Novels & Stories

We didn't let the darkness win. END OF VOLUME ONE

I pressed my hand against the light— And the world shattered. I didn’t scream. I didn’t breathe. I just fell. Fell through the code, through the memories, through the voices calling my name. And then everything went dark.

The world around him spun dizzily, the darkness closing in as his body trembled uncontrollably. He succumbed to the overwhelming darkness, the harsh reality of the situation fading into oblivion. *I apologize for updating this late.

But there was one that I never thought I saw: darkness. The darkness was calling me, provoking me, telling me in my ear that I should submit to it and that everything would be fine. He whispered to me he would take care of everything. He murmured to me to leave everything in his hands and that I no longer had to decide. I must admit that your offer was tempting. It only took a second of hesitation, and I fell. I fell exhausted. I felt my senses numb, and I separated from Mia, returning us to our original state.

The darkness is all encompassing and infinite,a vast and eternal thing that swallows us whole. We dangle in it's midst for a fraction of a second before we descend into free fall.As before,I can see myself and those around me clearly, despite being enclosed in inky blackness. We're falling through time and space, with no end or destination in sight. We're in The Deep again. "Aaaaahhhhh!!" A scream pierces the dark and echoes thinly, then is absorbed by the void.

Outside, dark clouds began to gather, casting a heavy gloom over Sunshine City. The air crackled with an unsettling energy, and one by one, the people around him fell into a deep slumber, the weight of the impending storm claiming them as its own. Only Flameheart remained awake, his heart racing, sensing that something momentous was about to unfold.

This was pleasant. I felt calm. I gradually give in to the Darkness with each breath.I could feel the darkness within me rise to the surface as midnight descended even further, taking up everything I could see and making the air feel deadly calm. My gaze shifted to the opposite side of the bed, where the lycan king was still asleep. The notion of him being so exposed to me now made me smile nefariously. You could hear the cheers and the mirth from the celebration going on downstairs. They were smiling, laughing, and generally happy. If only they realized that I was going to put an end to their happiness so quickly. Silently, so as not to wake the lycan, I got out of bed and walked across to
