Huzefa apologized, giving them a new room to sleep and rest for the time being as the concept of night and day is ambiguous in this country. They don’t know when is morning, when is night so they simply went to sleep to rest for the time being before leaving to gain their last relic.

Was that franklin or it was just my imagination? I tossed it on the ground where I slept because the bed in the motel was too small to contain the three of us.

Its just," Demitri rubbed his face, his eyes especially,"morning ya know." Demitri bluffed and closed his binder. "Cheer up, we're gonna study together later and I don't want you to act like an ass." Becca said. "yeah, sure. We'll see." Demitri said. The rest of the class was uneventful. Just more notes and more homework pages. The other classes were all the same. For other students, this day may have seemed tedious or even frustrating. For Demitri and Becca, this was a typical good day of productive learning.

The days were beginning to blur into a new kind of rhythm. By Night , the pattern wasn’t just locked it had become their entire world. Kai arrived at Eclipse early that evening, already buzzing with anticipation. He’d spent the day in his tiny apartment with Lila, who kept shooting him knowing looks every time he checked his phone or touched the fresh bruise on his hip. “You’re glowing like a man getting railed every single night,” she’d teased. Kai had flipped her off, but he couldn’t deny the truth.

I exclaim horrified and Ash chuckles. "Let us hope it doesn't come to that." "If it comes to that I'm gonna choke you in your sleep."

The night would not forgive. And only one side could survive the dawn.
