Maybe it’s just in my mind, but the only thing I feel as his hand touches my upper arm is sparks. No sizzling, no burning.

I hated that I wanted him to touch me. "Liam," I breathed. "Quiet. Listen to your body. What are you feeling?" 'I am feeling like I am going to scream if you don't actually touch me.' "I feel..." I swallowed hard. "Frustrated." "Exactly. You feel impatient. Your brain is expecting the sensation, and when it doesn't come, it heightens everything. It creates a vacuum." Then he touched me. One finger, tracing from my earlobe down the side of my throat.

As he spoke, something strange washed over me. My body felt too warm. My throat felt dry like I needed something but I did not even know what. Then his hand moved. Slow and calm. His fingers rested on my shoulder again, just like inside the house when he checked my temperature. His touch sank into my skin. Every tiny hair on my body rose as if reacting before I even could. A sharp breath escaped me. Why does he touch me like that? Why do I always react like this in front of him? Why do I feel like... like I cannot breathe when his hand is on me?

My heart started pounding as I leaned closer. “What…?” I whispered. When I touched them, a sharp sensation rushed through me. It wasn’t pain, but it wasn’t comforting either. It traveled from my fingertips, through my arms, straight into my veins. My breath caught, and my body stiffened. Energy. I could feel it clearly now. Strong. “It’s happening.” Fear and confusion flooded my chest. I tried pulling my hand back, but the connection felt deeper than just touch. My mind buzzed, and my ears rang softly as if something was waking up inside me.

There was a depth to his gaze that seemed to hold a thousand untold stories, a silent promise of a connection yet to be fully explored. As our hands touched, a jolt of electricity shot through me, sending shivers down my spine. It was as if a current of energy surged between us, vibrating in the air like an invisible thread of fate. The sensation was both exhilarating and disconcerting, like standing on the precipice of a great unknown. At that moment, time seemed to stand still, and the world around us faded into the background, leaving only the pulsating energy that connected us.

His other hand reaches my throat and just the way he used to, he strokes the length of my neck with his thumb and my entire body becomes electrified because of his touch. Fuck... Why does it always feel so good being touched by him?

To stop me. It is not only the voice that makes my head foggy but the touch as well. Yes, this dream man of mine didn’t only speak to me, he touched me too, and the things that mere touch did to me. I can’t see him touching me, but I feel it. I feel it to my very core. I feel his feathery touch on my sink. It burns and soothes it at the same time. When he touches me, everything stands still for me. I feel like I am floating. I feel okay. I feel like nothing is wrong with me or nothing wrong could happen to me.

Ridiculous I tell you! A touch from him sends electric sparks all over my body. The worst thing is, I like the feeling of being zapped by his touch. Now, do you understand why I am saying there is magic at work here? What sort of static electricity always exists between two people every time they make contact?

The electricity flowing between us is surreal and more importantly, I feel the bond between us the most when we touch. Ironically, I also hear every thought in his head when we have skin contact. Like now, he is thinking that I am going to get him into so much trouble if he keeps kissing me like this, but he can't help it. I wonder if he can hear alll my thoughts too and quickly try to hide them.

My eyes grew wide and fearful as i continued to feel the sudden spark go off between us, an intense craving for more of his touch hitting me with such force and with so little warning that i couldn't help but want to get away from the awfully familiar feeling as quickly as i possible. What the hell was going on? Why is his touch suddenly so warm and different? Why is this happening to me right now?
