I just watched her go—her back straight, her steps steady, carrying nothing but resolve and hate. A week later, she was on the news. She'd said she wanted to disappear somewhere no one knew her. "You don't need to look around for her, she's pretty much on every news channel now and Trigger texted you the address of the hospital she's currently receiving treatment. I pray she survives it, I really pray she does. Goodbye." She turned around and walked into the room to pick up her stuff, then she walked out of the room without bothering to look back just once. It was certain that I wasn't going to be seeing her ever again. Yet, another consequences of my actions.

"It's not a goodbye, but if the worst happens then I want you to know that I loved you right up until the end." Forcing herself to ignore his desperate pleas, she hesitantly pressed the end call button and slipped the phone back into her pocket, starting to make her way to Hillside Manor. As she reached the abandoned property, she looked around to make sure no one was in the vicinity, then slid through the gap in the cage style fencing and up to the house where she hurried inside.
