Warping was Azrin’s least favorite method of travel. Was it convenient? Very. Did it ruin his stomach for a full forty-eight hours afterwards, absolutely. God, he envied a human’s ability to vomit. The Brunet could really use a good purging right about now. “You good, Nerd?” Lexus questioned. His hand stroked soothingly against his back in long slow strokes. “Ugh, no- I’m never doing that again, you can’t make me,” He whined turning around to nuzzle into Lex’s chest.

“ Meara!” The whispers started again, soft but notable. I tensed, my eyes snapping open. I scanned the field, but there was no one in sight. The sound seemed to come from the tree itself, from the rustling of its leaves. I pressed my palms against the rough bark and closed my eyes, focusing on the whispers. " Come... find... me..." The words were faint but distinct. My heart raced. Was I losing my mind, or was there something more to these whispers? I stood up, brushing the dirt off my jeans, and took a few steps back. The whispers grew louder, more insistent.

"There are voices of people that linger when their lives are unjustly taken from this earth," Crystal said. "Voices of blood, and people who can't get justice for themselves. These voices belong to the souls of the dead, and the innocent. They can haunt you, torment you, and even try to kill you if they are strong enough. They are like air. They can't be seen. They can't be touched. They can be felt, but mostly through one's hearing. They glide in the air. The strong wind can stop them, and so can fire. Nature doesn't necessarily stop them, but anything too loud for you to hear them can temporarily stop them. And that is why they are called whispers.

I curled against his chest, feeling his arms tighten around me. "Feeling any stronger?" I whispered, my smile laced with playful warmth as I lay against him. In answer, he extended his hand, fingers splaying outward as though gathering the very air around him. Slowly, he twirled his fingers, conjuring a delicate spiral of wind that danced and whirled, responding to the subtle command of his touch. The miniature vortex shimmered at his fingertips before he released it, sending it drifting gently out the window, where it vanished into the night.

Magnus and Alex joined her, their voices ringing out in unison, calling for aid. For a moment, the forest responded with nothing but the whisper of the wind and the creak of ancient branches. Desperation began to claw at them as they stood in the oppressive stillness. But then, as if answering their call, a gust of wind erupted around them. It swirled and howled, transforming into a fierce whirlwind that encircled them, and trapped them in a vortex of dark energy. They shielded their eyes from the debris, their weapons held at the ready.

I whispered, my voice barely leaving my throat. She didn’t answer. Instead, she lifted the skull slowly to her mouth. And then she blew. It wasn’t a gentle puff. This one carried power. The air trembled. A cold blast exploded outward in a violent circle around us. Before I could scream WHOOOOOOSHHHH! A strong wind swallowed everything. Her hair whipped around her face. My stomach dropped like I was falling off a cliff. The whole world twisted, stretched, bent and then..It stopped.

Grabbing her diamond purse, Qing Yue hopped out of her hover and pressed the purple button on her blouse sleeve. "Have a wonderful time, Master!" The hologram screeched robotically as the hover blinked twice and went dark. Diamond purse clutched in hand, Qing Yue smiled and walked towards the revolving glass doors. As she passed a group of four descending from their own hover, her bracelet caught in her purse. Then, an unexpected gust of wind blew and her black hair flew in her face, blinding her vision.

Dust swirled around Waverly, pulling her around in circles like the tornado did to Dorothy. She couldn't see straight—particles flew in each direction, obscuring any vision she had left. Then through the debris, she began to see a slim face. A woman's face. It swirled in the fragments, appearing to move side to side and her hair flowed in the opposite direction, as if the wind was catching a hold of it. She smirked and then winked at Waverly. Then, she flew forward, launching herself at Waverly.

Teddy, normally it merely tears up the surrounds for six seconds.” Ericka explains while she is hiding behind the shrubs in the midst of the large land border between the hospital and the enormous river bank, with Teddy clinging to her as well. Teddy, I discovered it while studying in school.”
