Kiara’s POV The sun hadn’t even fully broken past the treeline, yet I was already awake.Not because I wanted to be, but because Darius had told me to. I honestly thought it had been a joke, a sick prank that he had somehow allowed to play into the next day.

With shaking hands, I turned off the laptop and went to pack up my things. Only then did I realize that I'd bought most of my stuff in pairs. Only I used them, though; Harold never used the items I'd prepared for him. He was obviously cold to me, but I'd always ignored those subtle signs. Tristan's POV In the end, Willa signed the divorce agreement and walked out of the ward in silence. I was still too weary from having just woken up, and I barely managed a couple of sentences with Willa before drowsiness washed over me again. When I finally opened my eyes again, I realized that evening had settled in. Delilah walked into the ward with the warm chicken noodle soup and noticed the divorce agreement with both signatures. She merely set the container down and opened it, her eyes narrowing slightly as she said, "You woke up just in time, Tristan. I just made this, so please have some."

Stars POV- I woke up covered in sweat, I barely slept having nightmares all night and these cuffs cutting into my skin, leaving them feeling raw and bloody. I knew Willow didn’t get any sleep because of me. I looked over seeing the sun streaming through the window, I had no idea what time it was though. “Willow, wake up.” I started to try and shove her with my shoulder to wake her up. Her eyes slowly started to open, barely looking up at me.

I think I'm going to like this book. *** I was woken up by the harsh wind that was gripping at my hair and my dress. I opened my eyes and realized it had already gotten dark. Wait, I couldn't have slept that long, surely? I looked at my wrist watch and saw that it was only four o'clock. I looked up at the sky again and saw that it was covered with thick black clouds.

Ava’s POV Sleep was a stranger that night. I had tossed and turned until the moon itself had traveled halfway across the sky, the glow through my curtains mocking my exhaustion. My wolf stirred restlessly beneath my skin, as though aware of my turmoil but refusing to share its calm with me. Every breath in the dark felt stifling, every thought circling back to Diego, to Sage, to the chains of my family’s expectations. I finally pushed the covers off with a sigh and padded to my balcony doors. The air outside was cool and heavy with the faint scent of rain. The courtyard below looked peaceful, but peace was the last thing inside me.

Lauren POV Morning comes the same way it always does now, quiet, early, refreshing.
