Dragon’s Mark:His Dragonheart Mate

Dragon’s Mark:His Dragonheart Mate

They stretched wide behind him, crackling with heat so intense the air rippled. Rowan stared, frozen. Kai swore under his breath. “Those aren’t fire wings. They’re something else.” Mistara stepped forward slowly. “Those are the markings of the Unbound Flame. A form that should not exist.” Rowan forced her legs to keep moving. “Azeriel listen to me. You can control this.” “I can’t,” he whispered, voice breaking. “It hurts.” One of the wings twisted violently, sending a streak of dark flame toward the sky. The summit trembled again. The fire from his body rose higher, pulling, swirling, trying to break free of everything holding it down.

The rogue king is mine

The rogue king is mine

The fire was growing stronger, weakening them. I quickly stood up and ran to the door, opening it just in time. But then, one wolf started chasing after me. I could hear his groan as Jackson swiftly cut his throat with a dagger. The fire was already raging, and we knew we had to make a choice. We decided that facing the fire and risking our lives was better than surrendering to the Moon hunters. Holding Jackson's hand tightly, we bravely stepped into the flames, determined to escape.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

But at this time, the scene in front of them broke their courage. At the moment, they didn't dare to say a word. They turned into two beams of red light and shot directly to the sky, instantly flying more than 100,000 miles away. Behind Caspian, the blood-red wings spread out. Hot blood seemed to flow like a lava river. The Flame Demon Flame was roaring inside every wing. The two fleeing great demons suddenly felt as if their backs were being roasted. The void around them even twisted, as if it was about to melt and collapse.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Wings, Beasts and Claws

Wings, Beasts and Claws

This hunger that kept her constantly in my mind. But a crazed panic overcame me one day while I was out for a short flight. I had left my office feeling tense and annoyed that I couldn't go see Amara until my paperwork was finished, deciding to Shift and take Erebos out to stretch his wings. It’s a long but welcome process for a dragon to Shift, with our body melding into our dragon's heart while the rest manifests through a cloud of black smoke. My solid black and scale covered body had been enjoying the sky just aimlessly flying over the forest when a distant cracking sound caught my attention. I dropped lower and found myself over the ruins, my heart stopping cold in my chest as I caught

The Devil's Scars (The Road Devils Motorcycle Club 1)

“I don’t…” “He’s burnin’, baby girl.” “No,” she said shaking her head, blank and dazed. An EMT appeared out of nowhere, gently lifted Keira out of her arms and started CPR, and she looked at him in confusion. “But…” That was when Scars began to scream. And Zoe knew, knew with everything that she had, that her beautiful, shining avenging angel had just had his wings burned right off him. He was on fire. ****

Divine Academy

Divine Academy

I look down at Luka in my arms once more, feeling him become weightless, the use of his power knocking him out, and it terrifies me at how much it hurts my heart to think about causing him injury. When my flames wrap around Luka and me, the lava returns to its natural state, covering both of us as it sinks us to the bottom of the river. With my flames now protecting Luka, I unfurl my wings, planning on using them to push us through the lava, but the pressure of the lava is too heavy, and my wings cannot move. Reluctantly I release Luka from my hold, letting my flames hold him against me as I begin to swim through the lava. I'm moving slowly, but the lava acts as a partial shield between Luka

The Reaver Chronicles: Ramses (Book 3)

The Reaver Chronicles: Ramses (Book 3)

A large pair of wings made from fire had sprouted from his back sometime in the clutter and he was flapping them wildly. With every flap he spread air to the already raging fire below him. The ice shards melted instantly under the extreme heat. “His wings, go for the wings!” Raphael shouted, and he was right. I instantly forged a staff from ice and sent it hurtling through the air towards his wings. I thought because it was made of more ice than the shards it would withstand, but It melted before it even reached his wings.

My Fireheart

My Fireheart

He looks at Zog, who has turned his head to look at him, takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and jumps in head first. Gary's body falls quickly to the ground and Zog falls to his side, wrapping his large wings around him. In the pack, the members started screaming in fear. The great Dragon seemed to fall helplessly to the earth. Gary's body is wrapped in Zog's wings and both spin as they fall, until a ball of fire surrounds them. Zog blows slowly against Gary's chest, and when they are both barely above the ground, Zog rolls, making Gary fall onto his back and fly straight into the sky, disappearing into the horizon.

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The Immortal Emperor Returns

The elderly Winged yelled hoarsely to their men, rallying what was left of the Legion to escape while they kept their wings beating as furiously as possible. "HELP! NINTH PRESBYTER—" One of the lesser chieftains had turned back to help the other Wingeds when the waves caught up to him and all he could do was scream for help. But the Winged presbyter who had been the first and quickest to escape ignored the call for help. Rather, he jetted quickly away. "CURSE—YOU—" The elderly Winged chieftain screamed with what little strength he had left before the waves of destruction swallowed him whole and he was gone, shredded into a mist of blood and specks of flesh.

The Devil's Broken Doll

The Devil's Broken Doll

The scale of him forced the eye to adjust, to recalibrate what counted as a threat, what counted as a weapon. His wings unfurled behind him. Not in a single, theatrical sweep, but in a measured expansion that claimed the space as its own, the membranes stretching outward in layered arcs, catching the rising heat and bending it to his will. The edges burned in deep, smouldering crimson, not bright but dense, like coals banked beneath ancient ash, pulsing in time with the fire beneath his skin. Drifting ash caught along their span, then burned away in curling wisps, leaving no mark. These were not the wings of any bird. They were banners torn from an infernal altar and set ablaze. That fire wa
