Winter Flower Novels & Stories

Lydia responded, and I waved my hand dismissively. “I know, I mean what are they doing here? And with those flowers?” I asked. Lydia shook her head. “Alpha Edward must have asked them to bring it in. Don’t you like the flowers?” She asked. “Of course, I do. Chocolate cosmos, they’re called,” I explained, “It’s a rare type of flower that smells exactly like chocolate. You would even want to eat them,” I added, laughing, then I advanced towards the florists, who were arranging and watering the flowers.

I add. He turns to me. “Lilies? The same lilies that we have abundant in Winterwood?” “Yes. When I came here it was a shock to me as well. For some reason the soil here can't grow the flowers, but it's been carefully cultivated in the greenhouse.” “Let me guess, the King heard lilies were your favourite flowers and he made sure that they were specially cultivated?” His voice has a subtle mockery I can't ignore. “You say it like it's a bad thing.”

A while later as we all sat down for lunch, Myles also joined us. He had been a lot busy these days and we all had no idea why. He randomly appears out of the blue to join us, and often goes back to his place. “Hey myles. You havent been hanging out much these days.” nikau said, somehow reading my thoughts. “Oh its just time for the winter moon flowers to bloom. I had been taking care of them.” “The winter moon flowers?” i asked curiously. Myles nodded, his expression serious. "Yes, they're a rare type of flower that only blooms once a year during the winter solstice. They're said to have powerful healing properties, and I've been working to cultivate them for our pack."

Amelia took her hands, carrying her into her arms, before walking out of the ballroom. "That's ixora, and that's marigold, and we have jasmine over there." Amelia said, pointing at the flowers. She'd taken Winter around the garden, showing her all the flowers and telling her their names. "And that's daisy." She completed, smiling at her. "Do you like it." She asked, and to her utmost suprise and shock, Winter stretched out her hands replying. "I want it."

There was a princess who lived in a palace that had everything except a garden. The soil was wrong, everyone had always said so, the ground was too cold and the light was wrong and nothing could grow there. But one winter someone planted sunflower seeds anyway. Not with any real hope. Just because the seeds were there and the ground was there and sometimes that's enough of a reason. The seeds didn't grow for a long time. And then they did. Lily was very still against his arm, Gerald was on her lap. The candles moved. I was watching Ethan.

Just looking at it gave me goose bumps. “I’ve never seen this flower before,” I told her, sitting up, and Zion nodded his head to agree with me. “What kind of flower is it?” "It's called Giyeangi," Astrid said. "It's a very rare and deadly flower that grows only on the body of a dead werewolf who was not buried. It feeds on their blood and essence, and then releases a toxin that can kill any other werewolf who comes in contact with it." I gasped in shock. I had never heard of such a deadly flower before, but what has it got to do with my poison? We didn’t have any dead wolves who weren’t buried so the flower wouldn’t be in our pack.
