At the deafening cries of the twins, all the Archons materialise. Archon Zoran towers alongside Enver, and they unleash a bolt of lightning at their daughters to halt their growth. Alpha Aoron, alongside Master Seraphim, also magnifies their presence and assists in restraining them, when a powerful rumble echoes through the air. Jan has become the god of evil and rages, casting flames, lightning, and sparks against Oto and Luana, who clings to the mouth of the human slowly transforming into a wolf. The Major Archon, accompanied by the Archon of Enril, shields him.

Twelve monoliths arched upward like the ribs of a dead god, each etched with sigils that burned white-hot as Astra’s blood soaked into the grooves. She did not cry out. She had learned long ago that pain fed the wrong things. Behind her, the wind howled—no, screamed—as something massive strained against chains of light at the edge of the circle. The Winter Wraith. It was not a wolf. Not anymore. Once, perhaps. Long before corruption twisted it into something that wore shadow like flesh. Now it was hunger given shape, a vast silhouette of ice and night, eyes like dying stars, breath that froze the air into shards.

Tobiah brought over a bowl of some liquid and splashed it before the statue. Othniel led the other warriors, including Hershel, to kneel before the strong man in the statue. They chanted in the Highland Tribe's language, clearly performing some kind of worship. Andrew and his group watched from the side without interfering. Knox stepped forward and also knelt and bowed. Then, he stood and said to Andrew, "This is our Highland Tribe's forbidden ground. The larger figure in the statue is Fenrir, the first werewolf progenitor. The other man is our ancestor, Arcturus the Unbroken."

I tell him. We had made our plan, and we would see it through. I knew this plan was going to be dangerous, and I knew that we could easily end up dead. I knew that Asmoday was friends with three humans that had wanted to be turned into werebears by Athena. Yeah, all those gods had created many creatures over the last 2000 years. Both Athena and Aphrodite had created were creatures. Part human, part beast. The human was able to shift into an animal. They had created all sorts of humans that could shift into wolves, bears, numerous species of big cats, foxes, and many other animals. Athena also created dragons. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades had begun a competition to see who could create t

she anxiously called, grasping the his sleeve until her knuckles turned white. Noorh looked curiously at her as he tried to fix the ends of his shirt and hide his exposed torso. "What is it?" "The adult winged serpents," she began. "They don't happen to look like that flock of birds up ahead, do they?" Noorh turned to look at the horizon and found the flock of birds that Kiran was talking about: a group of flying reptiles with black and deep red-feathered wings that were said to create winds strong enough to destroy an entire village.

He pants and growls in anger. Obsidian is used similar to silver for wolves and gold for Gods and Goddesses. It renders us powerless. The chants become louder as they crescendo and I feel a presence to the left of me. I turn my head and see a hooded figure moving closer. My eyes dart towards the dagger in its hand. It’s gold with a sapphire at the hilt. My eyes widen when I look back and see the face I never thought I would see here, doing this to me and her mate. Xena!

He said handing them to me. I collected them and looked up to Adrien. He gave me a reassuring nod and I opened one of the scrolls. The cursive letters of the title caught my eyes first. The Goddess Vessel: Awakening of the Veiled Flame "When the moon weeps in silver tears, Where silence echoes through the years, And five fangs causes her pain, A child shall rise, with fire in her veins, Her soul alight, with shadowed blade, She shall walk paths where many fear,

“These creatures are not simply after power or territory. Serenya has already awakened—the Guardian of the Wild Veil—and they’ve begun stalking her as well.” The gods stilled. Wolves, dragons, vampires, witches, and phoenixes. This was the bargain, the balance.”

The staff a bit higher than her, it glowed with great light symbolizing her connection with the earth and moon. This also signifies her ability to manage the pack's energies, she was an embodiment of spiritual authority. "It's time," I muttered as Mason and I joined everyone to gather around the ceremonial fire. The priestess invoked the lunar energy, she was honoring the protectors of the packs. After the rituals the Alpha's took turns to share their story, I wasn't paying attention. I waited earnestly for someone to leave.
