The Sigma's Reluctant Mate

The Sigma's Reluctant Mate

Late at night when the moon is high / The Wolf will make its eerie cry / Echoes in the valleys deep / And the mountains that are steep Then they travel far and wide / To find that soothing lullaby / They do not stop not once at all / Until they find that lovely song Their children listen with awe and fright / To how their parents sing at night / Then they run with their pack / Not turning once to look back Running in the snowy night / Covering their coats in frosty delight / Finding the source of the music / Sitting down and howling to it Crying with the pack they found / Vibrating the land with its sound / They sing all night not in day / Then they leave to get their prey

Bee
Another amazing book! LOVED the cameos from the other characters in the series. Advice to 1st time readers: this is the 3rd book in publication order but 4th in the current time line. Read Luna of the Manae 1st to see the connections, and beware of spoilers within the comments of each chapter.

What an absolutely fabulous book. It had me totally mesmerized and I could not put it down. Unfortunately, I have read the book so fast that I have nothing else to replace it while you complete the Luna Manea book 🥹. I am going to have to reread both of your books while I wait. Love your story tel.

Jack Frost's Bride

Jack Frost's Bride

He rocked her to sleep, singing a lullaby he had once heard long ago in a cradle of ice. The remnant ragtag forces of the enemy vila fell in white streaks, shedding silver blood onto the snow. Their cries were like sirens' voices. Battle over, the blizzard cleared. The moon struck like a hammer in the night. Morozko's song drifted far away, over Tsar Dmitri's mountains. It sailed across glacial seas, past thrice nine kingdoms and further, to the great icy keep of the watcher in the night. His old bones shivered as he heard the familiar tune.

Where Snow Can't Follow

Where Snow Can't Follow

As rain started to fall, I belatedly remembered how the weather forecast said it would get colder later in the night, and maybe even start to snow. Once it starts snowing in Atlanta, it never seems to stop. I used to dread winter, but Lucas would always wrap me in his coat several sizes larger than I was, keeping a warm blanket available in his car just for me. Looking back now, those moments of so-called happiness were never meant to last. As the rain poured harder, strands of hair stuck damply to my forehead, and my steps wavered almost to the point of collapse. I shook my head and let out a bitter laugh. How did my life end up like this?

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

Rebirth: What’s Left Of Me

{TW: Family violence} The balcony overlooked the sprawling woods, now blanketed in a thick layer of pristine snow. The winter scene was breathtakingly beautiful, with the snow-covered treetops stretching out as far as the eye could see. The silence was profound, broken only by the occasional rustle of a bird or the distant creak of a tree swaying gently in the wind.

Whispers of the Wild Hunt

Whispers of the Wild Hunt

But they won’t ever let me go. And as I drift off to sleep, I think about the boy’s fever, the song that I sang, and the world that waits for me on the far side of the mountain. Wild and untamed. As the first moments of fever filled pain hit me, I can’t help but think of Cognac eyes and a growl filled voice.

Storm-Worn Hearts

Storm-Worn Hearts

By sunset, Dawson’s house looks like it’s preparing for a storm that isn’t weather. Curtains drawn. Cameras checked. Exterior lights set to timers. Kellan moving through rooms with the calm efficiency of a man who has packed for worse. Miles at the dining table, laptop open, building a timeline that feels like a net. Rowan testing the back door sensor twice, not because it’s broken, because her body doesn’t trust “once.” Jace dragging a chair to the front window like he’s trying to be useful in the only language his nervous energy speaks.

Fragments of the Winter Moon

Fragments of the Winter Moon

Expected discomfort. Instead, something strange happened. The cold barely bothered her. Even with snow gathering lightly against her cloak and wind moving through her hair, she found herself oddly comfortable. The sharp bite of winter that should have made her miserable felt familiar somehow, like her body already understood it in ways her mind didn’t. She loosened her grip slightly against Silas’s fur, glancing out across the mountains again. ** The further they moved away from the castle, the quieter everything became.

The Last Guests of Winter

The Last Guests of Winter

At noon the next day, in the middle of June, snow began to fall. It came out of nowhere. Everyone else was caught up in the strange excitement of summer snowfall. Only the employees of the Lewis Group stayed home, just like they had been told, with heating equipment and food prepared in advance. That same day, Jasmine finally got what she wanted. She spent the afternoon in my bed with that balding man. Afterward, still not satisfied, she called me and asked when the money would be ready.
