The Female Alpha's Peak

The Female Alpha's Peak

STAR 'S POV It was the early dawn of winter, the moon seemed to be at sleep, the stars mocking me from above, if you listened well enough, you could hear the light whispers of the winter wind: to walk through the woods at that time of year was like a death wish, the worst could happen. Remembering stories of ghosts and witches in the woods got me frightened at the least. It took courage to walk through those woods. The chilly weather wasn’t any helpful, neither were my clothes. A white off-shoulder lace top and a red mini skirt are not an outfit for weather like this. I couldn’t remember why I was in the woods in the first place, and with the clothes, I was on for that matter, I rarely go ou

Lost Wind

Lost Wind

The temperature dropped drastically, the wind that blew felt colder, piercing the skin's surface. The trees swaying in the wind dance a dance of death that is both beautiful and magical, their dance accompanied by the sound of dry leaves, and the leaves singing as the wind blows them. The hoarse singing was muffled, their singing was like a muffled screams. It was like someone who wanted to scream with his neck choking hard, someone who was in a transitional period between life and death. They sang and danced as if it was the end of the world. The last day that humanity can taste before everything is destroyed with nothing left

Beneath the Howling Pines

Beneath the Howling Pines

The morning broke with a brittle chill, the kind of cold that settled deep beneath the skin and made every breath sharp and fleeting. Frost coated the pine needles and the earth, glittering faintly under the pale light of a winter sun struggling to rise. I stood at the edge of Ashfang camp, my wolf Nyx restless beneath the surface, sensing the tension that clung to the forest like a suffocating shroud. Ahead of me stretched the wild, tangled maze of Frostwillow — a land both beautiful and dangerous, where twisted trees loomed like dark sentinels and ancient shadows whispered of things best left forgotten.

CLAIMED BY THE DEMON KING: DARK ROMANCE

CLAIMED BY THE DEMON KING: DARK ROMANCE

The morning wind got more fierce but I stood still, notwithstanding it's chilliness. Winterwood, just like the name hinted, was always cold. It was rarely sunny over there, and when you've been there almost all your life, you start to get familiar with cold weather. This morning's wind was nothing compared to the ferocious cold in Winterwood. I stood there on the balcony for several minutes watching the sunrise when I heard a knock. I hovered around the door, sniffing, trying the scent. Pine and a tinge of vanilla, it was a familiar scent. I've perceived it from a servant, I just don't know which.

Deb
Chapters 22 & 23 are flipped. Chapter 16 & onwards have very large blank spaces in between paragraphs & single sentences making the chapters seem longer than they actually are. Just feels like a waste (5 stars so it doesn't get buried)

It's not how the description actually describes. If you like stories with sexual tension, cliffhangers, inward dialogue, It's for you. I'm enjoying the storyline, however, would love to have been able to read more about how d and e relationship grow in understanding each other. how did d know of e?

The alpha’s forgotten mate

The alpha’s forgotten mate

The frostlands’ biting wind howled through the skeletal trees, carrying whispers of ancient secrets and unspoken fears. Snow clung to bare branches like frozen bones, creaking softly as the gale pushed through the northern forest. Lyra’s breath fogged the air in steady bursts, each exhale a reminder of how thin the warmth within her had grown. Her boots crunched over brittle snow as she followed Kael deeper into the woods a place even the hardiest wolves avoided. This forest remembered things.

Wild ridge

Wild ridge

Lightning stepped forward, clapping a hand on my shoulder. "Good job," he said, his voice low and firm. "The Wild Ridge doesn't tolerate betrayal." As the group started to disperse, I felt a hand on my arm. I turned to see Jax. "You good?" he asked quietly. I nodded again, though the weight of the day was starting to settle in. "Yeah. I'm good." Jax smiled as he said, "Well, go get cleaned up then. You actually look like death!" He eyed me up and down, amusement flickering in his eyes.

Mated to the Alpha King

Mated to the Alpha King

[Unknown Forest Location, Twilight, Hours Later] Winter woke to the smell of damp earth and burning cedar. Her head throbbed dully, and her body felt like it had been wrung out and left to dry. She was lying on something soft..a bedroll, maybe, or a pile of furs. and the air around her was warmer than it should be, kissed by firelight. She opened her eyes slowly, wincing at the brightness. Above her was not stone ceiling but a canopy of dark rock, natural and rough hewn, glittering faintly with some kind of mineral deposit that caught the light. Firelight. Torchlight.

Fated To My Twin Brother

Fated To My Twin Brother

The wind roared in her ears as branches tore at her face and arms, but she dared not turn around. “Winter!” Leo’s cold, intimate voice echoed across the trees. She pushed herself harder, her mind racing with panic, her lungs burning. I must return to the house. I must— She skidded to a stop as a shadow emerged in front of her. Ericka. “Avoid getting in my way!” Winter yelled, her voice laced with desperation. Ericka paused, her face conflicted, but she remained motionless. The sound of Leo’s footsteps approached. Winter’s decision was made in an instant. She veered further into the jungle, swinging hard to the right before taking off once more.

MOONBOUND SECRETS

MOONBOUND SECRETS

Zara’s POV The first frost of the season dusts the forest floor, glittering like shattered diamonds under the pale morning sun. Winter has always been a time of quiet—of huddling close for warmth, of stories whispered by firelight. But this year, the cold feels different. It’s not just the chill in the air; it’s the weight of what we’ve survived, the ghosts of what we’ve lost.

No Winter Waits Forever

No Winter Waits Forever

The moment they landed, she abandoned them. "Go by yourselves. I need to find Nora first." Ignoring their calls behind her, she rushed straight to the gates of Northbridge University. She waited there for an entire day, but she never saw her husband or daughter. "Nora Duncan? There isn't anyone by that name in this year's medical school cohort." The student volunteer welcoming freshmen looked at her strangely. "Ma'am, did you remember wrong?" Marissa's mind went completely blank. How could that be? Nora Duncan had clearly been admitted to the clinical medicine program!
