Moonstruck

Moonstruck

They reached the base of the peak at noon. The bones were there. Luan had seen them in her dreams, but dreams were not the same as waking. The bones were massive. Larger than she had imagined. They glowed gold, even in the daylight. Light pulsed through them like a heartbeat. Like the three heartbeats behind her ribs. She walked to the largest bone. A rib. It was taller than she was. She placed her hand on it. The surface was warm. Almost hot. Why did you bring me here? she asked.

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Shattered Bond: Rise Of The Rogue Luna

Outside the glass window, the rolling green hills of the northern French countryside blurred into a watercolor of emerald and gray, completely untouched by the supernatural rot that had almost drowned London forty-eight hours ago. She sat stiffly against the plush velvet seat, her forearms tightly wrapped in fresh, clinical white bandages. The splints were gone, replaced by a specialized compression weave that Marcus had procured from a sympathetic medical contact in the British underground, but the bone marrow still burned with a dull, persistent heat. It was a strange, split sensation. Her skeleton felt fragile, like hollow glass, yet the skin over her wrists pricked with the newly sproute

His Regret

His Regret

I had been expecting a mystical, long-forgotten, anciently powerful weapon as the object but instead, she was holding a bone. “A bone?” Cayden was surprised too. “Yes.” Artuhla confirmed as she stopped before us. “But not just any type of bone. It’s a werewolf Ulna bone. One of the bones of the forearm.” She said. “What the fuck?!” I exclaimed. “A Werewolf’s body part is the Physical weakness of the Lycan King?!” I said in utter disbelief while Artuhla just smiled gently.

No steamy season yet in this book.only in the description of the story that’s it. Very misleading. I agree it started out great but the writing and character seem to be very childish I am loosing interest really fast. Even though it’s fave stars it should be two maybe three no more so far.

THE BURNT FACE LUNA

THE BURNT FACE LUNA

"There is something unusual about your child." My pulse thudded in my ears. My nails dug into my palms, pressing sharp crescents in my skin. "What? What's wrong with my baby?" "It isn't fatal," Dr. Mendez explained gently. "But the child shows signs of congenital weakness. Unless you receive the Wolf Mother's Bone within the next month, the baby may not survive."

Cursed by the Gods: Cleopoda CBTG Book 1

Cursed by the Gods: Cleopoda CBTG Book 1

It was so thin and transparent that the cold seemed to bite her flesh even more now. "She doesn't look like much, eh?" Huge feet walked in front of her bowed figure. She could barely shrink back, there was no strength in her at all. All she could do was stay hunched over and take deep breaths. The skin of her hand was so thin now that her bones jutted out, threatening to burst through, her knuckles were pronounced and the outline of every bone could be seen through her skin.

Marked by fate

Marked by fate

This is the moment he tells me I can’t train anymore. Shit. “I would like to ask your wolf if she can focus on strengthening your bone density. It isn’t an easy feat, but given your accelerated healing, I suspect your wolf is powerful. I’ve worked with warriors who suffered repeated breaks of the same bones, and their wolves succeeded in reinforcing the weak points rather than simply repairing them. The process requires a few supplements, and for your wolf to concentrate on bone growth for the next few days or weeks, depending on how quickly she can impact it.”

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The Alpha’s Regret: The Hidden Luna’s Return

The waterfall didn't just freeze; it died. Under the influence of the Bone King’s proximity, the rushing water had been transformed into a jagged, stationary wall of black ice, sharp enough to slice through a wolf’s hide. Beyond that translucent curtain, the howls of the Winter-Guard grew louder—a discordant, multi-tonal shriek that sounded like wind through a graveyard. "They're through the outer perimeter!" Mina shouted, her voice echoing through the concrete halls of the bunker. "The motion sensors in the ravine just went flatline. Dr. Argentum, we have sixty seconds before they hit the blast doors!"

The Alpha’s Barren Pup

The Alpha’s Barren Pup

Just as the strain of constant uphill marching started becoming too much, a new deadly hazard revealed itself. Without warning, the ground around us erupted in a deadly bloom of jagged bone spurs - wicked shards of calcified ribs, femurs and vertebrae all pointed inwards like some sadistic game of caltrops meant to impale the unwary! My wolf side's razor-sharp instincts allowed me to bound backwards just in time, claws scrabbling frantically for purchase on the dusty trail. All around us, the sharpened phalanx obscenities distended from the parched earth, slowly rotating and undulating with a sinister life of their own.

To the Bone

To the Bone

The candles flickered, casting shadows that reached like arms. Outside, the fog had returned. It crept under the cracks in the Bone House walls, quiet and slow. Underneath their boots, the floorboards trembled. Just once. A heartbeat in the bones. And they all knew: the dreams were only the beginning. Something old had noticed them. And it had started to listen.

Merturned

Merturned

Human bones, weathered by time and the relentless flow of water, intertwine with the skulls, creating a haunting display of mortality. The ethereal glow from the waysticks casts shadows upon the skeletal structures, illuminating the intricate details of the bones. Delicate features of the skulls become visible, their curves and contours accentuated by the soft light. The translucent layer of calcium, formed from the presence of limestone fragments packed between bone and stone, overlays the skulls and bones, creating a patchwork effect. In some places, the layer appears frosted, obscuring certain details, while in other areas, it is more transparent, emphasizing the eerie beauty of the skele
