Novel & Cerita Wires The Neighborhood Lyrics

He exchanged a look with Cameron as they, along with every other phone-owning person in the gym, pulled their phones out. “It’s dead,” Cameron said about his phone. “But it’s still showing a message…” He was shocked. “Dear Havermouth, The moon is bright overhead, And all our secrets under its light are shed, We are your lovers, neighbours, and friends, Don’t let the moonlight be our ends. We are all what they fear, All unique, brave, courageous, and near, Help those who for shelter come, To those in black help none. We all fall, or we stand as one,

"No way!!! Why did you guys sell the house? That house is so cute. I'm guessing you are very familiar with the environment, I don't know anywhere in that hood." "One of these days I will take you for a walk round the hood." "That would be fun. Just make sure we don't get lost." "I can't guarantee that but if we ever get lost, I'll find us." "And maybe you could tell the story in one of your songs." "Great idea. Imagine having a song titled 'LOST IN THE HOOD'". "Or just "LOST". They keep chatting while Lydia and Ann give Pink the evil eye. Both whisper to each other. Jude gets pissed and start scolding them.

With a nod, I got out of the vehicle taking out my bag, and the polythene bags in the backseat. We walked in, with the only sound coming from Tana, who was fiddling with the house keys. The neighborhood was a quiet one after all. No gaudy sounds of surrounding standby generators that usually characterized Nigerian neighborhoods as a result of constant power outage. The neighborhood was quite posh, electricity was constant and only out on very few occasions, not without prior notice to the inhabitants, though. I know right... I stepped into the apartment inhaling the scent that I was soon to be accustomed to...

It wasn't my undoing and so I led myself to believe from then on. Unintelligible words of a modern song-- Rap as they call it-- from an artist I barely knew traveled through the walls, bouncing back and forth like an endless rally of a tennis ball. It barreled to the brains of the soaked bodies, dancing through the heavy mist: cigarette smoke and something sweet that would make you high. With a step, it all welcomed me in-- a world that only exists within its boundaries, an enclosed haven to a few. It was at the far east side of the town, at the very edge of a not so good neighborhood.

Neon ink slithered under their skin, pulsing faintly in time with some rhythm I didn’t want to identify. They were not drones. Not vampires. Just… people. Broken and welded back together by this place. The leader—Wires—twirled a length of chain lazily, the end weighted with a chunk of broken concrete. “Nice gear,” he said, eyeing our scavenged weapons. “And you made it down here without getting mulched. Impressive. Shame you won’t last long.” “Maybe we’re here to join the neighborhood association,” Jax said. His tone was light, but I could see the way his shoulders had shifted—weight balanced, knees loose, eyes tracking angles and exits.

Chapter 2 *** Leila was humming her favorite song as she placed the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies on the cooling rack. “Finally…” She smilingly clasped her both hands together while her eyes glittered while looking at it. It was a fine sultry day and she decided to give some of her neighbors her own version of chocolate chip cookies. Her mother, Sheila, and her stepbrother, Darcel, truly loved it and she was hoping her neighbors would love it, too.

Restless and unfulfilled, I grabbed my smokes and a lighter and headed out to the stairwell for a puff. Just as my hand touched the door to the stairwell, I heard a faint, frantic moaning. At first, I thought it was just a cat in heat. Then, a familiar scent hit me. It was a perfume that immediately made me think of my charming neighbor from next door, Demi Wilson. Every time I ran into her, that sweet, intoxicating scent always arrived first. Then came the flash of a red slip dress or perhaps a bodycon dress, with a neckline plunging incredibly low.

His mouth parted while he bangs his head through the air. The crowds gone wilder than before. The five guys walk towards the center with microphones on their hands. All of a sudden, a deep cold voice fills us. His voice soared through the air like an eagle on an up-draft, taking our souls. Hey baby Do you still remember me? I’m that boy next door With a black hoodie and white sneakers Memories started flashing in my mind as tears clouded into my eyes. The lyrics swim through my cerebral cortex like a wakeful dream, making me remember those times that I’m with him.

Most people might feel embarrassed by having their neighbor turn up in the night to ask them to quiet down, but he didn't let it stop him one bit. My only remaining option was to call my mom and vent. "The house is fine Mommy, but my neighbor's a satyriasis." There was confused silence from the other end of the line. "Your neighbor's a what, sweetie?" "He's like a rabbit. I can hear him going at it from dusk till dawn. My nerves are shredded. If you don't believe me, come listen for yourself." I made sure to sound despondent. In truth, I'd been wanting to redecorate for a while and this seemed like the perfect excuse.
