Their ugly form and firefly eyes standing before us. “Shift!” I roared. The word left my lips before I could think. The wolves answered instantly. Their bones snapped and fur tore through skin — shifting into massive forms. They snarled and snapped as they lunged forward. Vampires moved even faster — claws unsheathing, red eyes flashing in the dark — striking at the wraiths. Something wasn’t right. Zayden eyes weren't like it used to be, golden or black instead it was completely white. If you meet someone, any creature under the spell, the best thing you could do is stay away. On cue, the witches spread around him, surrounding him while the warriors retreated behind them.
