Newman looked like a demonic god when he was levitating. Spiritual flames surged all over him. There were countless runes in the flames and on the golden staff. He emitted a powerful spiritual pressure, which caused the wind to howl. Everyone outside saw him levitating. They were very excited by his powerful spiritual pressure. Some of the cultivators also knelt to worship him. It seemed like they did not need Loja, after all. Mister Hex could handle Trevor on his own. Wilbur also levitated slowly at that moment. He stared at Newman in mid-air.

A second wave of magic rose from the witches, this one more delicate but no less powerful. Lyra watched as High Priestess Seraphina lifted her hands, fingers moving in intricate patterns. Ancient symbols carved themselves into the air, glowing with golden fire, their very presence vibrating in Lyra’s bones.

Mom, being the high priestess of the coven, moved toward Nana and stood to the right of her, and dad, being the high priest, moved and stood to the left of her, along the circle. I sent a mind link to Kenny, “Kenny! Isaac is at the gate with a dark witch and we have more approaching from the forest behind our house.” Kenny was about to answer when I watched as the witches being levitated and carried to join Delphine on the other side of our gate. Our daughter carried them to the area and lowered them to a reasonable distance off the ground and dropped them roughly. They landed with an “oomph.” I mind linked Kenny, “Never mind. Lena levitated them to the front gate.”

“You shut it out because of guilt, so now that you feel less guilty, it should work… right?” He shrugged. “Well, this is confusing,” I muttered, pacing. “Let’s just try something, anything at this point. What’s the most basic thing your magic can do?” He smiled. “Levitation.” I nodded. “Try to move me, then.” I planted my feet firmly on the ground. He rubbed his hands together and stepped a few feet away. “Just relax and don’t force yourself into the ground,” he called. I nodded, taking a deep breath. “Let’s get it,” I yelled back.

Then, Damian cast a party buff spell, and Sasha unfurled her hidden dragon wings. “I’ll scout ahead,” she informed them. “See you there!” Envying the flight abilities, Zen ran behind Oritha, who had a head start. In the meantime, Damian casually cast a levitating spell on his rifle and sat on it sideways, leisurely flying beside Zen, who once again envied the flight ability. “Is there space for one more?” he asked. Damian shook his head. “It won’t carry two people. My levitation spell is only at the first level and takes a lot of mana. You can ride that instead.”

No sooner did they walk inside the lodge, Levy reached out and poured the blood that she had collected on Jacob, not only did she pour the blood on his body, she covered him with it. With one last glance at Nate, who smiled at me warmly without an ounce of doubt, I was ready. Multitasking wasn’t my strong suit, but I was getting better and I was about to prove it. Subconsciously keeping hold of the woven rope, I called out to the wind. I let my left hand raise, letting my intentions take precedent. A rush of power flourished within me as I remained still in my spot, before throwing my hand towards the levitating weapon. A powerful gush of wind swept beside me as it headed face on with the branch, before deterring it’s direction and throwing the branch to the opposite side of the meadow.
