Xavier asked. "We're not witches or warlocks. Our wolf forms are infused with such natural elements, and it doesn't let us control the whole power," Xavier clarified. "I can only guide her through black magic, not light magic. It's not my element," Susan explained. "You'll need to find another witch skilled in light magic." "Do you have anyone in mind?" Xavier inquired. "Jennifer, the new rogue, was also once a noble witch," Susan revealed. "What!" the three of us exclaimed in unison.

It was winter period when I first found my mate, she was beautiful and fair, had skin as white as snow, her hair was as flowy as velvet, and she had the voice of an angel. She asked and I stilled. "Why will I reject you, you're my mate." I said and she sighed. "Oh." She replied. "Alpha, I'm back." Aren said and I stood up. "I'll be with you soon." I told her leaving to meet Aren outside. Our hacker and computer operator found information about others easily. "What did you find?" I asked. "She's kinda a rogue, but not really." Aren replied. "Explain." I said. "She was the daughter of the former beta of the Crescent pack, her pack was overthrown and they had a new alpha named Alpha Rick, the alpha that has been really disturbing at times to us." He said and I swallowed, wondering what he did to her.

"Talking to the witch when you should be taking what she knows." Everything happened too fast. Draeven launched himself at the witch, his corrupted claws extended. She threw up a shield of shimmering light, but he tore through it like paper. I heard her scream as his claws raked across her side, saw blood spray black against the snow. "No!" I didn't know why I shouted it. Didn't know why my body moved before my mind caught up. I crashed into Draeven, sending us both sprawling. My warriors stood frozen, confused, caught between orders and instinct.

At this point, I was certain—There was something seriously wrong with the both of them. One loved stealing what belonged to others, while the other thrived on self-sacrifice and wallowing in their own misery.
