Witcher Elder Blood Novels & Stories

A murmur rippled through the chamber. Aurelia frowned. “That’s comforting.” Lucian ignored the comment. “What did you see?” The elder stepped closer to the ritual circle, staring at the faded runes as if trying to understand what they had revealed. “The form inside the flames was not a Lycan wolf.” Another Lycan noble stepped forward, his expression grim. “Nor was it the wolf of an Alpha.” Lucian’s golden eyes narrowed. “Explain.” The elder exhaled slowly. “In the oldest records… there are references to a bloodline older than both.”

I watched the elder slit his wrist and I cringe at the sight of the blood. Max guided his hand to a bowl that was brought before him and there his blood flowed through. “It is sealed!” the elder chanted and so did everybody. Max was taken away by the guards. My eyes followed him, but he soon disappeared into the crowd. I watched the elder take the same blade which he had used for Max. I could see the fear in his eyes, but I couldn't understand it. He brought the blade up and then to his neck. “What is he doing” I panicked, looking at Frank who remained as calm as possible.

"What is your game, now? Seduce an Elder to gain protection?" "Please make sure Paul gets home okay, and these ladies." I turned my back to them and went to the one who made my blood rush—for now anyway. The Elder glided to stand before me. I didn't look behind me at the two men glaring holes into my back. "I am Alexis," he said. "You have taken my blood. Now I am inside of you and you in me." "What does that mean?" "You will find out soon enough." He reached out and took my hand. Then we disappeared.

Her crimson, copper-scented blood soaked into my wolf's fur as Talia snaps her jaw around the witch's throat and tightens her grip until the witch gurgles one last time and goes limp. “What the fuck?” The man snarls behind Talia; I feel his hands on her rump but Talia just shakes her body hard, making the witch's blood fly all around us, the man yelps in pain and when Talia turns to face him, I see he’s looking down at the palm of his hands in horror. Where the skin should be a soft, pale white, it's now crispy and crusted black like he’s held them over a fire for far too long. ‘He’s an Elder.’ Talia growls as she sniffs the air; I can scent the man’s Alpha blood but it's aged like a fine wi

I should say something. I should tell her I understand or that I’m sorry or literally anything. But the words stick in my throat because all I can think is that my brother did this. My brother is the reason her son is drowning. The reason she’s sitting here in this expensive café, desperate enough to hire a stranger. She opens her bag. Pulls out a thick folder and sets it on the table between us. “This is the contract,” she says. “I want to walk you through it so there are no surprises.”

The Bloodsharing The elder produced a blade. Old iron. The edge catching the candlelight. He looked at Lucian first. Lucian held out his hand without being asked. The blade drew across his palm. Clean. A line of red welling up immediately. Then the elder looked at me. I held out my hand. The cut was quick. Sharp. I didn't flinch. The elder stepped back. Lucian turned to face me. Just me. The court fell away. He reached into his jacket. Produced a vial identical to the one Sera had given me.

Until on the battlefield, when he longed for her and realized that the mate he had been looking for had always been within his reach. The witch elder took a step forward while holding an antique ceremonial blade that was specially made during the Alpha’s wedding ceremony; the blade's sharp edges gleamed under the moonlight. “By blood and moon, this bond shall be sealed,” he pronounced. Oswald took a step forward and extended his hands, offering his hands to the gleaming blade. The witch elder stretched the blade toward Oswald’s hand. Immediately, Oswald’s blood spilled onto the goblet that rested on the altar. Followed by Wyatt, Rex, and Asher, Filippa’s blood was the last to be spilled into

Gabriel watched me…his eyes burned into mine until I felt goosebumps on my arms. He kept looking at me as he took the bone-handled dagger from the Elder…he cut his palm with the dagger...blood droplets splashed into the ceremonial bowl. Then he held the dagger out to me. It felt cool as I took it…then slit my palm too…the sting made me wince... I watched my blood swirl with his, two separate blood merging into a single liquid. The Elder took the bowl and tilted it over the sacred stone, the ash surface seemed to thirst for it, the red liquid vanished into the tiny cracks of the rock.

— The Elders answered again in perfect unison, > “None shall hide. None shall flee. The blood remembers.” Elder Nyra came forth. Tall, pale as frost, her hair long and white. She carried with her a chalice carved from the skull of a saint, the liquid within so black it seemed to drink the torchlight. Her words were colder than Cassian’s and sharper than Seraphine’s and all Elder’s voices. > “Blood calls to blood, and mark to mark. The painter is chosen, but she is not yet claimed. Her blood sings, though she knows not the song.

Then, finally, the old man let out a long, shaky breath, a surrender, perhaps, or an acknowledgment of fate. "The blood has returned," the Elder said, his voice a mixture of awe and bitterness. He turned his gaze to me, lingering on the Moretti ring on my finger, the emblem of power and legacy. "And it has brought a wolf with it. Tell me, Butcher... are you here to protect our grandson, or to claim our docks?"
