WITCHES: THE RISING PLOT The era of witches is gone forgotten by all but a few who has lived through it. However, a teenage girl discovers her powers in an unexpected manner. With the unlike squad she has come to regard as family, what are the challenges they will face in a world predominantly governed by humans? Will they come out whole, alive, unscarred and unscathed? CHAPTER 1 PILOT Clara’s POV:

“Because of time I’ll just give you the important details as I know it, but you have to be very attentive.” “Since it is common knowledge that there are witches I won’t have to tell you that again. But you see witches are of different grades, and one can be initiated into becoming a witch through different means.” She cleared her throat and continued. “Although witches are usually united when there is a general problem, they are generally split into three different groups; White, Red, and Black. White witches are the good witches, and their aim is to help humanity. The Reds are on the fence, in-between the good and the evil, while the Blacks are the real definition of evil.”

The doors opened too. Amariah’s eyes widened as she realized that her shield was gone. The Triplet Alphas moved instantly. Jett’s snarl was the first I heard as his strength returned, his fangs sinking into one of the witches that tried to run. Talon immediately cast a spell protecting us as Amariah tried to use her spell again. The wolves outside poured in through the broken doors, their paws thundering against the floorboards as they walked in. The witches tried to fight back, but their magic had become weak since I destroyed the anchor they were using.

Jacob wanted to come with me, but Granny refused and told him, "She will take care of me. Actually, not everybody is allowed in this coven, which is why Rosie also came with me. The two more old witches along with granny are standing inside a circle. I stepped in and stood in the center of the circle. I don’t know what will happen now, but whatever happens, I am strong, and my wolf is strong, so it’s my duty to save this world. I will not let Satan take control of this world and make everyone his slaves. The witches are spelling something—I was trying to catch it, but I couldn't understand anything. Suddenly, from the left side, a circle forms in red. After that, there were a total of five c

Instead of gray mouth's and fingertips, these witches had blue mouth's and fingertips. The sand began to move again, slowly at first, swirling like a whirlpool, until I began to rotate. Channeling my power at the swirling ground, I willed it to stop, the magic powering it pressing down on my own, making it difficult to breathe. By now, I was sinking, the sand level with my knees, and I was unable to lift my feet. I threw my magic into a shield, trying to seperate my skin from the sand, and expand the area to free myself, but it was too strong. I didn't stand a chance against six fully trained witches.

Keegs shook his head again. "Bend Over, my brother... Here It Comes Again." We sat silent for several minutes as I tried to process everything he had just told me. How in God's name did we get mixed up into this? Witches? Curses? Murders? I just couldn't wrap my head around it. "Sooo... you're telling me that these women are completely erasing their previous identities... And swearing complete allegiance to the Crowningshields?" I asked eventually. I didn't get an answer because there was none to give. The door to Max's room opened and she was wheeled past us. She was being transfered to another room now that they determined that whatever she had wasn't contagious.

The intruders were many and their scents were masked so I could barely tell who they were or where they came from. A huge fight had broken out, but the intruders were gaining the upper hand, I caught sight of a group of witches chanting a spell to weaken our wolves and I flew towards them immediately. Not many witches can fly and since they were still on the ground, I was sure that they were not witches of higher rank. Meaning they were no match for me. I secured our pack house to protect the Omegas and the children who couldn't fight then I removed their spell from the wolves.

Gecko releases me and stands beside Corvu. “Oh come on.” Jade groans, “Don’t tell me you hired these clowns to prank me. Am I on a show of some kind? Is that what this is? Are these things even real-” As she pulls on Gecko’s ear he yelps and she lets go almost immediately. Now she was stunned into silence. “How are you both here?” I ask. This time, Corvu responds, “Well, it took awhile for the word about Witches to circulate, then we had to go find one that was strong enough to send us here.”

Maddox asks. Looking at him “ The witch “ Back to Harley “ She won't stop talking and I'm not making sense of anything she saying” I told them what she was saying and they were looking at me like I had grown a second head Until Maddox snaps his fingers “ The Alpha did say that she was looking for a warlock, could that be him.” How could I forget about that “You're right but the picture we have of him is all wrong” I remind them. “ Yeah but with all this magic going around, who knows, what could be right or wrong” Harley says.

The entrance to the hallowed location could only be reached after a lengthy series of spells and enchantments were performed. Long swaths of vegetation and delicate tree fences wind their way through the wide expanse. They were concealed by a magically illuminating moss that provided enough artificial light to allow the ritual hall to function properly. The Witches celebrated their winter solstice today, which coincided with the turning of the Wheel of the Year and marked the beginning of their Midwinter, or Potion Ritual, celebrations. This was the most important event in any young witch's life because it functioned as a cyclical calendar of festivals and rituals that took place throughout
