We looked around, nothing seemed different. Just then a whoosh of magic seeped through our feet. Esther felt it too. Masked figures stepped out from literally no where. Their hands clasped with each other, holding us in a circle. Carter dropped on his knees, shouting, clutching his head in pain. A line of blood began to fall from Esther's nose, as well as mine. These Witches were doing something. "Scutum" I quickly placed a shield around us, stopping whatever spell they were casting. I saw to Carter, he was bleeding from his ears and eyes. I quickly healed him, standing to face them.

PROLOGUE Long ago in the Land of Ramain, witches or anyone who were practicing witchery were being chased down and executed. The law of Ramain forbade the use of spells, witchcrafts and any form of magic to prevent chaos and maintain peace around the land. Witches escaped and isolated themselves in the middle of the woods, where no one could harm them. They also stayed away from one another to live safely. A witch named Sarah, who was separated from her family, lived alone in the dark side of the mountains. Her mother was one of the witches who died during the run and had no idea what happened to her older sisters and to their father.

I mean, even if I were, I would probably reject him, or he would reject me. Witches and Wolves do not mix; we are convenient allies when we both share a common goal. The King's Witches felt they were far more Superior and magically capable than the Pack Witches. The two sets of witches did not work well together at all. Shining the red color of her into an orange sunset, in a blink, the throbbing pain on her body lessened before eventually disappearing. "Puppy, come here" Mike ordered with a wave of a hand. Ariana heard his airy deep voice which made her shoulder lifted up to protect her body but at the same time, it made her wound more visible to Mike's eyes, making him ticking his jaw in dislike. On his left palm that he spread out the black long wand formed from thin air to his use. Green thorny vines rooted from the bottom of the wand and end at the crescent shaped top that had a red gem in the middle, seeming to float without anything attached.

I opened the door to my office and made my way to the desk and sat down in my chair. Alpha Hudson gnashed his teeth together, fury surging through him. Those damn witches. They are doing too much! The witches had been entangled in a war with the power axis pack three weeks ago. Their body will forever remain in that state. Forever young, never aging. But that's not all, once a witch becomes eighteen, her magic will reach its full potential. And that's what scares me the most.
