Will Bear the Moon

Will Bear the Moon

Roofs powdered white, chimney smoke rising in thin grey ropes, streets made dull by slush and grief. Directly below the window, scattered across the grand entrance, were the black roses. They had started to appear the exact day after his father’s death. A Dawny tradition — the flower cultivated specifically for death and mourning, expensive enough that each bloom represented a real sacrifice, which was perhaps why they carried the weight they did. Everyone had given one, it seemed to Nicoli by the piles. Townspeople and servants and nobles who wanted their grief witnessed and recorded. They had accumulated until the cobblestones near the entry were dark with them, petals gathering in the sno

And fell in his hands

And fell in his hands

She did not know where she saw this stone. She sighed strongly to hold that small necklace in her hand and kept looking at it for a while, vaguely.. She did not know why she had doubts, nor did she know why she imagined strange things.. She also imagined a little girl holding the necklace, and next to her was a tall young man dressed in black and his facial features were unclear.. For a moment this came to her Imagination.. She closed her eyes tightly to put her hands on her head and her facial features shrunk.. She calmed her down a little to sigh strongly and begin to open the small leaves and the content of the first paper was in a handwriting that seemed to someone who was novice in writ

I Never Regretted Leaving You

I Never Regretted Leaving You

She shook her head and said, "Would you be willing to tell me your address?" "Rose Manor." "Rose?" A trace of confusion flashed in Thea's eyes. Suddenly, in her mind, she remembered many years ago when she stood in front of the courtyard wall of a wealthy villa, looking at the roses that filled the entire yard. Suddenly, she cried uncontrollably. Beside was the thin and weak Theodore, who saw her crying and silently held her hand. She cried and said, "Theodore, roses are clustered together with sisters and brothers, blooming and withering together, accompanied by loved ones, even if they wither, they are not alone. I want to be a rose."

i think the author needs to focus on finishing books rather than leaving lots of unfinished ones that leave your readers hanging and we do not want that. you would gain more followers and readers if you can concentrate on one story at a time and finish each book. more ongoing than completed books

This is one heck of a story. It has romance, betrayal, revenge, time travel, robots and tons of dramatic twists and turns. There are some translation mistakes here and there but overall, it’s well written.

Tempting Her Bodyguard

Tempting Her Bodyguard

If, after everything, it turns out she’d mistaken me for someone else and I’m not the woman she’s after, I’m going to be really fucking pissed. I search for the meaning of dead roses online and see that it signifies the end of something. In some cases, it signifies lost love, heartbreak, or mourning. By the time I’m done reading, I’m convinced the roses are a sort of bad omen. I feel jittery for the remainder of the day and as I work, I count down the hours until I leave so that I can show Carter the box. I consider texting him but he’s going to speed down here and I’m not going to be able to get any work done anymore because this will be the only thing on my mind.

BLOOD TIE AND BROKEN VOWS

BLOOD TIE AND BROKEN VOWS

“Then the world will bleed.” The roses trembled in the midnight breeze, petals scattering like drops of blood over stone. And in the shadows beyond the orchard, unseen, a pair of eyes watched — cold, calculating, patient. Isabella.

The Alpha's Fateful Witch

The Alpha's Fateful Witch

He waved back and turned, walking back inside the doors that led inside to his office and she watched him go until he disappeared from her sight. Turning back to face the back of the mansion and the trees that surrounded it, she bent and plucked a single rose from the garden and holding it to her nose, inhaled its sweet scent. She then held it in front of her and stared at for a second before the deep red colour gradually seeped from its petals leaving behind a rose that was white as snow. Satisfied she placed carefully on the stone bench next to her and turned to look a nearby shrub that was meticulously trimmed and grew close to the ground. Again she focused all her attention on the shrub,

Ashes and Rose Petals

Ashes and Rose Petals

“Come on, man. Rosa’s looking hot tonight. She keeps smiling at you, and you’ve only got eyes for your beer.” Rome looked over at Rosa. She was hot. Long, red hair, and legs that never ended. She was definitely someone he’d be interested in getting to know better--if it weren’t for that phone call earlier. All he could think about was Ella. He’d even looked around the club, wondering if any of these girls could be her. But none of them looked like the picture he had of her in his mind. Dark hair, wide eyes, a beautiful smile…. No, he had a feeling his Ella wasn’t here tonight. “You should at least get up and dance,” Bart said, nudging him with his shoulder. “I need a wingman.”

Bleeding Rose

Bleeding Rose

She beamed and said, “yes, I have talked to dad and he wants us to get married in the span of one month at most.” Rudra nodded and muttered, “fine, now please leave me alone. And for God’s sake, you are chief doctor and do some work.” Kiara moved out of the cabin and her minions instantly joined her tailing behind her. Rudra heaved a deep breath to control his anger that want to escape... he slumped in his chair and held his head in his hands. His gaze fell on the two frames on his table. One of his family with his three lovely angels and his father. His mother; Gayatri, his sister; Sanjana, and his grandmother. His lips curved into a small smile seeing them all smiling. But them his gaze fe

Roses and Wars

Roses and Wars

As I put one of my feet inside of the warm and welcoming water filled with the petals of the beloved and most beautiful rose. I sometimes wonder why it has so much love being given to it. It is so imperfect, yet that is its perfection just like all of us--We are perfect and one because of the imperfections of us. I also wonder why a rose just steals my heart every time I look at it--it's just so magnificent. Is it because of the color that it possesses or because of the way it possesses the frail heart of mine? So melted in my thoughts that I was, I didn't realize that I had to get out of the bath to get ready.

Roses & Thorns

Roses & Thorns

He has every right to be angry then I see him looking at my bump. He comes towards me slowly as if tiger is taunting it's hunt that there is no escape from him. He holds my gaze as he traps me between door and his magnificent form. The form which I missed alot at nights. The warmth that form used to gave me at cold night that I missed. "Sometimes instead of beautiful rose, you become a thorn at my side. But I rather feel the pain of it because it is another side of your love too." Rudra says as she looks at me with mixed emotion. Anger, hurt, guilt and most of all love.
