He finally spoke, his voice filled with indifference. His uncaring attitude shattered something in me. A surge of emotion swam through me, betrayal, heartbreak, rage. I heard several gasps as a sudden light erupted within me,surging through my veins like wildfire.. My body trembled as the sudden change took over me,every muscle twisting and reshaping as power and pain collided. I gasped,my scream shifting into a low growl. When the light faded,I stood there on four legs, although I was smaller than most wolves,my red fur shimmered with an ethereal glow, and my eyes burned with defiance. The crowd stared,And for the first time,I felt whole.

Flames burst from her body as she crashed into the creature’s side. The heat of her power exploded outward. The creature howled in pain for the first time. Its dark fur caught fire instantly. Don’t give it time!” The ancient wolves moved together. Lightning. Shadow. Wind. Earth. Each wolf struck with a different force of nature. But the creature absorbed the attacks like a monster designed to survive them.

The scent of Elias's lingering presence upon her was an insult to the wolf's senses, and it was driving him insane. What is her gift? - We, by virtue of nature, cannot freely communicate with animals, they are afraid of us, - she began to explain, - and werewolves with such a gift not only approach any animals calmly, but also feel their life streams. For example, you can say that your head hurts, show where it hurts, and werewolves with such a gift feel it. They are excellent veterinarians and are highly valued at our fur farms. In our flock, sable, arctic fox, marten, ermine are bred. A very profitable business. I still don't get what's wrong? A wonderful gift, - but I thought to myself that I don’t have a gift at all.

I swallowed, "you're my last resort coz you have information that I don't. I honestly don't know what to do. Please help clarify somethings to me." 'you have a minute before they realize you called.' "there has been Wolf attacks here.. I don't know if it's them... But I had a connection with one.. Strangely the same connection I have with a girl.. She's human... I don't know what this means. Can one person have two mates?" 'if there has been wolf attacks why are you still even there?' I swallowed, shit! I should have known he will ask this. "because they happened before I got here. So they had nothing to do with me."

His dark brown hair was messy and sticky with his sweat, his scruffy salt and pepper gray beard coated in his own blood and spit. I watched as he thrashed against their grip and I reveled in the sound of his pain filled screams as one of them slowly dragged the sharp blade of his knife across the front of his chest. From his left collar bone to his right, so agonisingly slow. When the knife finally left his chest, Felix’s head slumped in relief and he tried to catch his breath. It wouldn't last long. My second man was already waiting with the bottle of purple liquid in his hand. The concoction was made up by our healers, a special wolfsbane brew. A potent liquid that we now incorporated to a

Michael Whitlock POV; Spirit walkers are powerful among other wolf packs. This is one of the first things that they learn at a young age, and as they grow older it becomes more common. They could destroy entire armies in the blink of an eye and still stand proudly, as if they were never even in the field to begin with. They are not only strong but also smart; they are very well trained and have excellent senses. They can sense a person' location from miles away. There is something else they can do which is much more dangerous to humanoids.

He kept messing with it, like maybe he was hoping some magic would happen. The pelt was from a real wolf who had died long ago. The pelt was used to channel the beast when a pup first begins to form their connection. It helps bring them closer, bind them into one. Of course with Logan the situation was slightly different. Pups have their beast even when inside their mother but the connection is dormant for years.

"But obviously, he's not now. Elias loves you." I nodded, one corner of my lips curling into a smile. "Thanks, Seven." He gave me a crooked smile. "Alphas think differently. Also, wolves think differently, too. When you're a wolf, the senses and emotions are heightened. You feel everything stronger." I nodded, understanding.
