Wolf Lunar Chronicles Novels & Stories

Moon asked confused. "Weren't wolves created without humans? I can't imagine how Gaia might have turned out had the human half hadn't been released." Moon commented. "You must understand the importance of the part we all play in this. I have dealt with Chad and his Council long before I was your alpha. Winter was an old wolf, and I was his Luna. Chad’s wolves are different beasts in their own rights, they need to be reguarded with respect, or whoever the Council faces in physical or psychological combat will fall every time." she paused to sip her coffee.

As she turned to the next page she wondered not for the first time what on earth her grandparents were doing with a book like this? It just didn't seem like their reading style. It is a mistaken assumption that a werewolf can only shift during a full moon or even any kind of moonlight. The shift can take place at any time of day or night and depends on the circumstances. But they must change at least once every forty-eight hours or the gene in their blood will create havoc in their system."

Each puzzle seemed to reveal a piece of the story, a story I was becoming a part of. The door slid open, and I stepped into a vast chamber. The walls were covered in even more elaborate murals, depicting the origins of the Moon Wolves. I could see images of the first wolves, their spirits bonded with the moon’s power, giving them strength, wisdom, and a deep connection to the night. The murals told of their battles, their triumphs, and their losses. I felt a deep sense of reverence as I walked through the chamber, absorbing the history that was unfolding before me.

--- Scene 3: The Shadow Wolves Stir Far beyond the Sanctuary, in the ruins of a cathedral drowned in shadow, the Eclipse Wolves gathered in a circle. Their new leader stood at the center—a figure cloaked in writhing darkness, with eyes like molten voids. “Vaelor rises,” the figure hissed. “And through his ascension, we shall become eternal.” The gathered wolves howled as one, their voices a low, feral chant: > “Shadow to flesh. Flesh to power. Power to eternity.” As their howls grew louder, a ripple of energy surged across the world, turning the crimson moon an even deeper shade of blood.

I can feel it. The words of Aria were soothing, and what she said was true. Odessa could feel herself becoming stronger each day. Simeon returned moments later, his face shining with a victorious smile as he came out of the darkness. A leather-bound book in his hands. This is it, my Luna. The Chronicle. Of our pack. It's said to hold the secrets of the ancient wolves. Ancient wolves. Odessa had heard of them. They had powers that we could only think impossible. Odessa's eyes widened as she took the book from Simeon. She opened it, the pages crackling with age. It was filled with pictures of different wolves and some writing.

Chapter 1: The Mark of Rejection The moon hung heavy in the sky, casting a pale silver sheen over the Midnight Howl Pack’s sacred grounds. Tonight was supposed to be a celebration. Selene's twenty-first birthday, the age when a wolf finally senses their fated mate. She stood at the heart of the moonlit glade, wrapped in a gown the color of raven feathers, embroidered with silver threads that shimmered like stardust. Her long obsidian hair flowed down her back in soft waves, catching the light of the full moon. Her striking violet eyes, unusual even among wolves, gleamed with excitement, hope, and the unspoken longing she had buried deep for years.

I knew there was no way Colton could come up with such a devious, intelligent plan. Anger and frustration boiled in my chest. She’s a step ahead again. Until today, she knows how to ruin my life. Still, confusion also tugged at the back of my mind. What Eamon said earlier really shook my core. That she’s a rogue of Helios— I have suspected, but from a millennium ago? That’s madness. Werewolves live an average of 300 years— with 10 years being a century equivalent in human years, as they say. It’s because of the sanctity of a lycan’s soul that we must die and find our way back to the Moon Goddess.

Conri revealed, his voice filled with great concern. "Attacked? But by who? I thought this was the only werewolf pack?" I asked looking up at him, I was so confused to the point that I could feel it greatly. "No Melissa, there are other werewolf packs present, each pack has its Alpha and Luna. One of our rivals, the hunters pabk, each werewolf in this pank has deep silver eyes but the eyes of their Werewolf is as red as blood. They are very vicious and ready to wage war on us, this is something Nelson is trying to avoid for the safety of the pack so it's best he gets crowned as Alpha immediately" Conri explained softly in a way I can understand better.

"I crown you Audrey, Luna of the Solar Eclipse. May your light never dim, and your shadow never falter." As the circlet touched Audrey’s brow, she didn't feel the coldness of metal. Instead, a surge of pure, ancient warmth flooded her veins. The golden light that had been her secret burden for twenty-one years flared in a magnificent, blinding crescendo. It reached up through the ceiling, piercing the clouds in a pillar of brilliance visible for miles across the mountain range. It was a beacon to every rogue, every ally, and every enemy: the White Wolf had not just survived; she had ascended.

The moon cycle was the feverish experience female wolves encountered at the end of every moon cycle (a month of 32 days). It happened differently to every she-wolves but we all had cravings during that period. Following Novalia's advice, I lied down. "I am listening guys, "I finally said trying to be as focused as possible. "Before the pendant disappeared, we took pictures," Arden confided his fingers running on the screen of the tablet he held. "The pendant seems similar to ours but it's not ours," he continued his eyes meeting mine this time around. "Why do you say so?"I asked wincing as I felt another burn building in my belly.
