Wolf Ranks Highest To Lowest Novels & Stories

Elora snapped, but he ignored. “Well, I have come to reveal something you'd never believe. I am sure you all understand the ranking of the wolves. The late Alpha and his wife are both Alpha wolves, but it is quite unfortunate that your supposed Luna standing before you now is an Omega…” The people gasped. Elora's eyes widened. “Again with this omega talk? What's your problem?” She yelled, but he ignored her. “Will you fold your hands and allow an omega rule you? You all are better than her in all ramifications. Your ranks are higher than her, so why the heck do you want to take orders from a low ranked wolf?” He snapped, and the people started murmuring.

My wolves name is Ara. The leader of the pack is called Alpha, who is the most dangerous and most powerful of all. He protects his pack. His mate is Luna of the pack, she takes care of everyone. Then there is Beta and Beta female, who is second in command to Alpha. Then Gamma and Gamma female, they are third in command to Alpha. Then there are Warriors, who fight in the wars. After them, are the Deltas and then us, the Omegas. We are assigned duties for the pack.

I suddenly got excited. "Yes. We have the alpha, and you probably know what the alpha's job is. Alpha is the leader of the pack, beta is in second command, and delta and gamma are the ones who are ready to take over as beta in the future." I nodded. "There are other ranks that aren't mentioned in the stories you read, like epsilons. Epsilons are at the top of the middle of the pack. They are skilled hunters and very smart. Old wolves with a lot of experience are valuable to the pack."

She chuckled in embarrassment before she started walking and we followed behind. Here at Ravencrest. It is important that everyone knows their place and their importance on the pack. It helps us recognize who is higher than us. It’s simple. Rank 1 is the highest, only the alphas belong in that rank. Rank 2 wolves are betas, second in commands, elders and their children. Rank 3 includes the scout leaders, hunter leaders, and basically and wolf that holds a position of leadership. Rank 4 included the scouts, guards, hunters, fighters, doctors, nurses and medical trainees.” Maya explained easily as we listened closely.

My whole world changed that day actually. You see, on or around a wolf’s 12th birthday, their wolf’s status or rank can be scented by others, as our wolf is beginning to prepare to emerge. This also helps ranked wolves prepare the younger generation for their position, and responsibilities within the pack. The ranks are Alpha who is the leader of the pack. Beta who is the second to the Alpha. Gamma who is the third to the alpha. Deltas or warriors who are well the warriors or the packs protectors. Regular wolves who are the day to day wolves such as doctors, nurses, teachers, shop owners, and the like. The lowest ranked wolves are the Omegas. The Omegas are the maids, cooks, gardeners, baby

And in the hierarchy of wolves in the pack, while an Alpha was the head and most respected and honored to lead the pack, the Omega was the lowest and everyone who made up the pack looked down on them. This was why no one took the demise if my parents serious. They had an inkling that they did not have to after all, father was a vampire and mother was an Omega wolf. But deep down, I knew that was not the reason why Pedro had dismissed their investigation. The black wolves were just really terrifying and as much as I wished he would do something about it. Anything, he just had to call off the investigation by saying it was a waste of man resources, going after people who did not belong to the

"But a shifter? Wolves are pretty sexy animals." Sexy! Lia hadn't heard that particular adjective applied to wolves in her lifetime, at least from humans. From them, she'd heard adjectives like rabid and vicious and crazy. And certainly those applied to the pack that had decimated her own. But Lia knew firsthand wolves could be definitely sexy. "She certainly made it believable," the woman behind Lia said.

His arms were crossed, his posture rigid, every inch of him radiating authority. I held my chin up, refusing to let him intimidate me. "Because it's obvious," I said, matching his tone with steel of my own. "I know how ranked wolves behave. I've watched hierarchies my entire life. These three?" I gestured back toward Ronan, Kael, and Turk, who stood frozen in the center of the arena, watching our confrontation with wide eyes. "They move like officers. They carry themselves with the confidence of wolves who already know their place. Ronan's the Beta, Kael's the Gamma, and Turk's the Delta. They've been ranked for a while now, haven't they?" Darien's jaw tightened, but he didn't deny it.

he continued, looking away from it and at the glowing Moon Court beyond the hedges, “we hold balls and perform ceremonies.” I followed his gaze. “Yes,” I said. “But only for the elite.” His expression shifted, more thoughtful now. “There is hierarchy among wolves. We have the nobles and royal blood at the higher rank, and other wolves from important positions, and ranks and their families and then we have the ones with no rank. It keeps order.” I frowned. “Many of them are mean.” His eyes came back to me and something flashed in those green eyes. I hesitated. “They wear jewels and smile while tearing others apart.”

She had a mane of wild brown and gold curls, and tanned skin, I couldn’t see her face but I nervously unfolded the note. “Rank?” Was all the note said and my stomach sank. This pack was entirely built on a ranking system, my aunt had spent the drive home from the airport explaining it, there was the elite tier, the best of the best, Alpha Abel held that spot, along with his beta and another warrior. After that there was the gold tier, this tier had 5 in each rank, gold 1, gold 2, and gold 3 for a total of 15 gold wolves. The silver tier was made up of 60 wolves, 20 in each rank. Bronze tier was where a majority of wolves ranked, it was made up of 150 wolves, 50 in each rank. And lastly there
