Wolf Ranks Highest To Lowest Novels & Stories

As a teenage girl, I am the only one that would not be allowed to live in the packhouse. At 15, girls become unranked. Before that we are considered the rank of our parents, so I have been unranked for 2 years, 11 months and 13 days. I turn 18 in two short weeks. I don't expect to find that I have a wolf when I turn 18. I just kind of think that if I had a wolf, I would feel it. Besides, I have a plan and having a wolf isn't in the plan.

I tried to convince him. The wolf froze for a second, listening, but did not change the target, sniffing even more. Okay, Lark, remember what that means. Why did you give him up? Morgan found out, others recognized, he did not obey, dispersed others, howled, the rest retreated, does not growl, walks, sniffs ... All the years among the pack flashed through my head, everything I knew about their rules and nature. And why was he mad? "Hush, hush," I muttered, backing away.

It will wear off within a week. If it were normal wolves, such marking wears off in a day but I wasn't just a wolf. I am an Alpha wolf, a Lycan for that matter. If I had marked her by biting her then it would have been a problem for I wouldn't accept anyone other than my dead mate. Lycans are the highest-ranked wolves, higher than even Alphas themselves. You can say they rule over them, in other words, they are the Alpha of Alphas. And since Lycans are rare, they stand as royalty in front of other wolves.

I was left breathless by the nuances of it—the ways their positions could shift and change, and how easily. “How do any of you ever keep it all straight?” I groaned on the third day, almost tearing out my hair as Maya kept drilling me on the hierarchy of the packs—and then the hierarchy within each—and how wolves determined their positions when they gathered. “To a wolf this is instinct,” Maya said irritably. “Even the children rarely get it wrong. We can… scent it on each other. The other wolf’s power and strength, and where it places us against them.” “But you said the Burnt Timber wolves outrank the Stone River wolves, and yet when I was learning the Alphas yesterday, Derk, the Stone Rive

If he’s noticed or not, he says nothing. “Right,” Jay agrees with another low hum in his throat. “Well, we have similarities to real wolves, but we are not like actual wolves at all. Real wolves, despite what humans once thought, do not have ranks like alpha, beta, omega… so forth. They’re just a mother and father breeding pair and their offspring. Werewolves, however, have those ranks,” he continues, his voice smooth and warm. I nod my head slowly. “And you are… the leader of the group, right?” I ask. After a moment’s pause, I then add, “the Alpha?”

His wolf must have looked for some type of kinship aside from Tyr. Whenever they would do their runs, Tyr was usually the first one to turn as he was the highest rank within their mini pack. Unless he would command other wolves to turn before him, they won’t be turning. He knew that no one, even Zeev, had yet seen Zane’s wolf. So, he turned to his cousin and gave him the honor to turn first.

Everyone had great expectations for their to be Luna. A wolf's power was known by the colour of its fur. While brown was for the lower ranking wolves, the nobodies and the omegas, black was for the nobles, it was extremely rare and these wolves were mostly bestowed on alphas that were formidable. Orange was for the higher ranking wolves, most beta wolves were this colour, a bright red orange that looked nearly gold in the light of the sun. A deeper brown was for the normal populace. About 80% of werewolves had this color. It was just the normal colour for simpletons.

"And you both have to do the laundry today. Apparently, it is as tall as the mountain, and it's no wonder why when they love to pile it up that high to make us suffer!" And welcome to our daily lives as the pack's omega slaves. We wake up every day before the sun even rise and do our tasks. I have been serving the higher-ranked werewolves in Northridge Pack for as long as I can remember. We are divided by the higher-ranks and the lowest. The Alpha, Betas, and Deltas are considered as the highest and strongest, while us, the Omegas, the weakest and lowest serve them.

Lucas and Lyn looked in the source of the voice and realized a very huge sized Blood Sucking Evil Wolf coming toward them. That Blood Sucking Evil Wolf had a green glint in his eyes and the sight of it was terrifying. Lucas smiled faintly and his stunning face remained composed. That Blood Sucking Evil Wolf as a Rank 3 Celestial Honorable Ranked. Hence, he was just a weakling to Lucas. "This is." Lyn gulped her saliva, and her fair face revealed a horrifying look. "The leader of the Blood Sucking Evil Wolf?"

"That's the short version." Margaret nodded slowly, and I thought she was going to leave it there. I hoped she was going to leave it there. "And the pack dynamics," she continued, leaning forward just a little more. "How does that work in your world? The hierarchy, the structure, the leadership. Is it true that there are different ranks among werewolves?" I blinked. "Yes. There are alphas, betas, different ranks depending on the pack." "Fascinating." Richard swirled his wine. "And strength varies between wolves? Some are naturally more powerful than others?"
