Wolves Notes Novels & Stories

As the fight got more intense, the two werewolves shifted, so that where two men were fighting before, there was a very large grey wolf, Thomas, and a slightly smaller black wolf, Jonas. The wolves circled each other, the grey one’s eyes full of wisdom, experience, and anger. In the black wolf’s eyes were a knowing look … and triumph, which was weird because it was being beaten hands down. Several bones in its body had been broken and it was favoring its right front leg, whereas the other wolf was very much unhurt. The fact that the black wolf was being beaten did not seem to faze it, though. Its eyes kept darting around, as though searching for something, so the pack members thought that it

Then he said: “Can I show you something.” I looked at him. He turned his notebook toward me. Not the outline. A different section, further back, pages I had not seen. He had been writing something that was not the project, a separate set of notes in the same neat precise handwriting, and he slid it across the table toward me with the expression of someone who had made a decision and had not finished deciding whether it was the right one. I looked at the page. It was a list of cases. Wolves who had presented late. Significantly late. Not the standard range of thirteen to sixteen but later, eighteen, twenty-two, one case at twenty-five. He had annotated each one with the outcome, what had even

The wolf lifts one huge paw, moving towards me, and I shriek again, my hands flying out to protect myself. The wolf jumps at the sound, freezing, and then, hesitating, takes a step back. We stare at each other for a long time before he sits. And then he lays down, resting his face on his paws with a sigh. I turn my head at him, my face twisting in confusion because…can wolves sigh? He turns his head, looking away towards the door and I suddenly notice that he has – of all bizarre things – a blue ribbon around his neck. And attached to it…a note.

I slowly sat down on the ground even though it was hard. The black wolf attacked Reginald, he move backward to avoid the attacked, they’re running from the distance and for an instance Reginald attacked the black wolf using his talons from his paws. Uncounted attacked that he made and he bite the enemy to the neck. Wanted to get rid of the black wolf from him but Reginald was stronger he didn't give the enemy a chance to retaliate until the black wolf gradually lost consciousness and the black wolf bathing on his own blood to the ground. It looks like his head will be detached to his neck.

Lukan is genuinely kind and possesses a pure heart, that much my wolf knows for certain, and I trust his spirit. He flips the notebook back to the early pages, which include countless drawings of pack boardrooms, long trail crossings, stacks of territory treaties, and random mugs of bean sap in different dens. I look over his shoulder as his eyes devour each sketch again. Then, my sharp eyes notice the sudden pattern shift in the drawings. “What is it?” He searches my face, immediately noticing the shift in my scent.

I kept the notes in the bag before going on the watch. It was burning a hole in my head, but I did not dare give up on the run and take them out before I was with the others. I didn’t want to answer questions that might arise from the other wolves as I wasn’t sure what I would be reading. I also wanted to talk it over with Selena to see what she thought of the information. If what was in those notes was truly a better ritual to perform than what we had been using, then I needed her on my side to help promote it to Lamont and the other wolves.

Obsessively. Pge after page was a tangle of scientific theory and frantic handwritten notes, sona crossed out, others underlined. There were diagrams of claws, canine teeth, musculature comparisons between wolves and werewolves. I took out another journal from the bunch. This one had everything she knew about them. This one had a leather cover, cracked and worn with age. My hands trembled slightly as I flipped it open. The first page was dated April 12th, the ink faded but still legible.

“Come to the point. What does my Luna have to do with that scroll?” Gamma Daxon untied the crimson ribbon, unfolding the withered parchment. “This scroll," he announced, "mentions Echo Wolves only once. It appears in the section documenting natural calamities.” The murmurs instantly grew louder. Natural calamities? I stared at him in disbelief. How could Nyx possibly be connected to something like that? Gamma's voice echoed clearly across the silent grounds. “The records describe the Echo Wolf as possessing black fur and crimson eyes, two ominous features existing together. It is considered a warning… And the pack in which the wolf awakes is approaching destruction.”

Wolves who touched them didn’t see memories. They just felt calm. The stones on Luna’s hill changed too. The words were still there. WE BLEED TOGETHER WE CHOOSE ANYWAY WE REMEMBER WE CHOOSE FOREVER WE CHOOSE BOTH WE CHOOSE TO REMEMBER But now, under them, new words appeared. Faint. Like they’d always been there but no one looked close enough. WE REST TOGETHER. Wolves cried when they saw it. Not sad crying. Relief crying. Ori stood there a long time.

leave because that would cause suspension and get the packs talking. When you are a wolf married to your mate, it's not easy to walk away until death. If she truly wants an out, she will have to die.
