Dax felt his heart pounding faster than ever. “You’re saying… our world was born from something worse?”

I grimace. “ Your mother was preparing you for our world. She always knew a day like this would come and then you will realise all her stories were not in fact…stories. ” Wolf rolls his shoulders leisurely. I clench my hands. Then, unclench them. And then clench them again. This is so nerve—wracking. “ How many of them are stronger than humans? What chances do humans have against this? One day, another war will start…one day, another supernatural race will want to rule the world like werewolves. ” I whisper, unclenching my hands once more.

Third Person's POV The Astral Planet is a world where monsters roam freely. A place where they throw the worst of the worse. A complete opposite of the Celestial Planet, which can be described as an ethereal or sacred world. Within its dangerous and toxic territory, there stands its only Kingdom. Where even the meanest monster strays away from this place, making it a safe zone to live. They aren't avoiding it because of the strong energy emitting from the land but rather they are afraid of its ruler, the Dark Queen.

She healed faster, fought harder, and embraced pain with open arms. The elders didn’t like the match due to age. When they looked at her, they saw a child, so they set their sights on me. My father was influential in ways outside of finance. He had fought in the great war against the fanged ones. Alone, he had come home with a thousand fangs around his neck. I hated to look at the fangs hanging on the wall of my cabin, but male wolves would practically swoon over them. Even Glynn liked to look at them. To me, they were a reminder that war devours, and people forget why they fought in the first place.
